    Hiking on Wah Shan (Wah Mountain) in Shueng Shui, NT yesterday with a group of friends. Great for cardio-training … so many ups and downs! Ended up at a Taoist Monastery and had a delicious vegetarian meal there. What a great way to spend Sunday with friends. ❤

    Good video and tips explaining the trail. This is what we needed to know when we are in HK in August. So thank you! How long before sunrise and sunset we should be on top of the hills to see the beautiful sunrise and sunset?

      Happy you found it useful! I’d say if you’re on the summit 30min before the sun rises/sets, you’ll have a wonderful experience! 😋 Happy trails!

    Which is the easier walk for old folks with walking sticks? We can't wait to visit HK!

    • @thenuedlings
      @thenuedlings  5 місяців тому

      Hi! The easiest one with potential crowds is Lugard Road/ Morning Trail up at the Peak. Easy to access with HK’s skyline. You can also check out Black’s Link (between Wong Lai Chung Gap & Wan Chai Gap) and Sir Cecil Ride to Braemar Hill. These are also accessible by cars/ public transport and are relatively flat and cemented

    Hi what would you recommend for mid June as we are visiting for a family we are ok 4-5km and been doing relatively easy trails with pathways and stairs
    And I reckon it’s hot season more shaded trail 😅
    Much grateful
    Ps oh yes what to pack?

    I did a hike from tung chung to tai o and it was beutiful. There was absolutely no one there. The trail was a mix of beach and hill. I really recomend.

    Hi,
    Very useful video, thank you for that! How much time it takes to hike Lion Rock? Let's count with an average person :) Thank you!

    • @thenuedlings
      @thenuedlings  Рік тому +1

      For average person, I would say only 2.5hrs for walking max. If you take a long break on the summit to enjoy the views, you can calculate with 3hrs.
      Happy trails! 😋

      Hahah Chinese new year period is not the best, super crowded when it’s public holiday. Pat Sin Leng (8 apostles) in the new territories, although a tougher trail, might be less crowded. From Tai O fishing village to the Lantau prison/ detention centre could be another alternative. Have a good hike 😃
