If Rory combined with Carwow Matt, they can beat any car-show out there in the world. In fact, I would cancel my Netflix, Amazon prime and sit with popcorn every day waiting for a video from them.

Bmw must see Audi A3 sportback and saloon is giving tough competition to Merc A class and Bmw 1 and 2 series .this is War in this segment .this is intersting lets see how it performs
I don't care how good the car is, they shit the bed with 2 series gran coupe in terms of exterior design.
put the 2, A3 and (CL)A-class next to each other and ask people which one they fancy. I don't know what confused soul woud pick the BMW - and I'm a fan of the brand.
@@DenisKudlik BMW 2-series are meant for grandpa and grandma. Just like the Golf + and Suzuki Liana.
BMW 2 should come standard with a sixpence.

Agree totally mate. I was about to pick up an S3 before COVID hit and am now in a position to do so again. I’ve waited this long I think I’ll wait for the new model to release and just put a deposit/pre order one (saloon version ofc!)

Exactly. I usually like both channels, but the Carwow video was poorly done and couldn't watch past the halfway mark. On the other hand, Rory did a fantastic job here.
Saloon looks nicer but the hatchback more practical.

I have the current A3 Saloon 1.5 TFSI, I think I will get the new S3 Saloon next.
you will lose a little boot space due to the quattro in the S3, which is often never mentioned. You'll only find out when you try to put something that would normally fit your A3 Saloon.
I don't think this applies to other models when adding quattro.

I prefer the front to the rear, mainly because there are now no longer a twin tailpipe but fake outlets instead. This car looks great though and the tech has really caught up. I am swapping my tfsi Sport, owned for over 3 years, for an S/Line as soon as a decent deal is available

Best looking car in 2020 hands down that's affordable
Looks very classy! I currently own an A3 S line hatch and love the flat bottom steering wheel, which surely is one of THE features that defines the S line from lower models. Why then do you have to now pay extra for one? Smacks a bit of penny pinching.
The new Audi interiors are top notch
If this A3 is under £30,000 then is that just a starting level entry before adding the optional extras ?

Yes but I would hope the saloon has a longer wheelbase because with saloons the seating is lowered because of less headspace but that requires more legroom at the back. Hope they done it otherwise they'll have made a saloon with rear space the size of a coupé

I've always liked the s3 saloon. All the car you need. Yobish enough to have fun, smart enough to turn up to a funeral in, sensible enough to turn up to a business meeting, and stylish enough that people take some notice

Need a 40 TFSI or S3 to upgrade. Want something premium and fantastic and already loved the old A3 Saloon but just didn’t have the funds at the time!
Why it doesn't come with paddle shift ?
This is my preferred choice for my last car.
It will still be the weapon of choice for the usual Audi driver.
The shape is reminiscent of the old Audi 80.. a classic

Pity in South Africa we still have the old 1.4 TFSi not the 1.5
car is perfect dimension, all new cars become so big.. you cant park any more on parking, to not step on one or both lines when you park. not even talking about how cant open doors on most parking lots. this car is returns of sedans-limusines. why would any one bought big sedan if you have so much SUV on markets for same price. small car as this is perfect sedan size

Yeah...but the video demo has an A3 that's fully loaded or close to fully loaded, and that one is nowhere near 27K or even 30K. For the base model you don't get those fancy dynamic turn signals, you don't even have LED turn signals in the front. Definitely no HUD, the navigation maps are also extra money to unlock, the cockpit display showed in the video is also upgraded, it's not the one that comes standard.

The only thing I don't like is those AC vents where the steering wheel are. They scream late 80s square. I will enjoy my 2018 A4. I don't like what they did with the A4 either with the rounded off.front end and removed the dial from the centre console
BMW 1 series, look out. I think this looks a lot better, more sleek even the basic model will look sleeker than a one series BMW, the basic BMW one series basic look a little plain for my liking.. Can't wait to see any of the S or RS versions..
What about diesel engine?

Not bad value for money if you ask me?
Shame they haven't got the 2 litre engine - I find the 1.5 engine to lack guts - had it in a Q3 courtesy car while my A5 2 litre (190 bhp) was in the garage.
Same gutted they're not doing 2.0 litre petrol engine
German cars are well built

I don’t get why they bother making the 2.0tdi with less hp, people got the 1.6tdi because it’s less in taxes but those 2.0tdi’s will be very close
Looks great, but you won’t see many of them on the roads as the A3 known as a hatchback

I've fallen out of love with Audis still, appreciate they are amazing cars and to drive but I feel Mercedese and BMW are leaving them trailing and I never used to look at those two other brands Audi was my go to.
Think I prefer the A4 TDI, @ least I have a better chance of fitting in it 😂🙈🙄
I'm not usually a fan of Audi but I actually like this design. I my mind we are in an era of some of the ugliest car designs ever seen in the idustry. So It's nice to see a more simple cool elegant design for a change
