Out of the two recent singles that Memphis May Fire has released (“Death Inside” and “Blood & Water”), “Blood & Water” is the superior of the two in my opinion. You gotta react to that one too bro!!
YES PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REACT TO BLOOD & WATER
TOTALLY AGREE
I will never not suggest listening to “The Sinner”
And the Victim 😁 love both of those songs so much
That whole album was sick!
"The Sinner" and "Vices" from The Hollow and Challenger albums respectively they're songs from his early years, it'd be great if you took them into consideration, Great reaction Tank!!!
Gotta do the new Ice nine kills song next. Definite banger
yeah I'm super stoked on that one as well. You always see bands get attention and go soft but INK sent it on Assault & Batteries.
You need to check out their other single Blood & Water, it's even heavier.
YESSSSSSSS
I love their Challenger and Unconditional albums. Anything off of those is a solid pick.
One of my favourite recently song so far!!
Their entire new album is amazing.
Matty's voice is amazing and they were great on Warped Tour 👏 check out The Sinner, Vices, No Ordinary Love and Prove Me Right 👏👏
yeah these new memphis may fire songs are stupid good. Never been so intrigued by their music until now...but going back and listening to their older stuff I like it a lot and don't know why it didn't make me warm and fuzzy inside before lol
I'm not sure why I haven't seen a reaction video from this channel, considering I watch almost all of them when it's a band I like. But, I'm glad the algorithm worked this time!
This was a fun reaction. I love your gear rundown and almost pop-up video style tips and tidbits of information. No one else is really doing that. Keep it up!
Hey, thanks a ton!
Don't know if you did the other song they dropped called Blood and Water but its a must. Both songs are good but Blood and Water is amazing
You have to listen to Heaven shall burn. One of the biggest Corebands here in Germany. All members have "normal" jobs, too. E.g. the frontsinger works as a nurse at an ICU during Covid
The Sinner is a must!!
Alive in the lights!! Gotta be one of the their best!
Another great reaction!!!! I'm super surprised that you never listened to this band but hey that's life hahaha!!!! but that
makes me wonder have you ever listen to
While She Sleeps??? if you don't then you should because I'm sure you're gonna love them.
THE SINNERRRRRRRRRR☺️
I could be wrong, but I heard their guitarist (Kellen McGregor) mixed and mastered all their recently released singles. Pretty cool if that's true!
I would recommend: Vices, Prove Me Right, and Bleed Me Dry
I just had the pleasure and honor of seeing these guys perform live with Papa Roach and Breaking Benjamin, and they all KILLED it, they sound just as amazing as they do on these tracks, which is rare nowadays. Blood and Water and Bleed me dry are also two pretty great songs if you wanted to check those out as well. Looking forward to the next videos!
There is a new Trivium track coming out tomorrow. It's called Feast of Fire
I love the Rap influences many bands have now
A lot of nu-metal and metalcore bands have had rap influences in their sound for a couple decades now. I've always liked it.
Shocked. You should go and check out The Hollow from them, an excellent album IMO
These two singles are fantastic, especially after the last couple albums that I’m not very fond of. The Hollow and Challenger are definitely their best albums
Agreed. The Hollow is a SOLID album!
I actually think Sleepwalker takes both those albums by a mile.
Speaking of new songs; Shadow of Intent and Crystal Lake have released new songs recently.
Tank, you legit have a jason lee vibe… and damnit I love it! Love the work my dude.
Speaking of metalcore bands you know with new stuff to check out . . .
Trivium - "In the Court of the Dragon" . . . Its a story video, but it is sick. Not sure if you've heard them with Alex Bent on drums, but ho-ly crap.
Bullet for my Valentine - "Knives" and "Parasite" . . . remember when Bullet was heavy? This is them heavy and angry. I'm so excited for their new album now.
I always start simping when somebody only mentions Alex
The haunted, definitely a banger man!!
Tetrarch is a band I would love to see on here. They just released an album not to long ago and I think you would dig them
I'm a huge MMF fan. Their song "Prove Me Right" is a nice middle finger to their old label which is fun. "That's Just Life" has gotten me through some of the deepest depression in my life and the last scene in the MV makes me break down and cry almost every time. I actually ended up in their "Sever the Ties" MV they recorded a few live shows and one was in St. Louis.
edit: adding after you said it, they were with blessthefall and Sylar lol
Hahaha. Nice! Thanks for the info!
I love that one of the first things you pointed out was the mix and the tones. This mix was done by their own guitarist Kellen McGregor who over the last few years has really honed in on his production skills. It shows on these singles no doubt. He has his own guitar tones plugin pack and stuff too. Very well done.
I'm super excited to hear the album!
Tank, thanks for giving some time and providing some insight into the GEAR. You have a new sub. I will be checking out more of your reactions. Yeah, their album/songs recently released are really good. God speed bro.
Thanks a lot, man!
Can you please react to the newest INK video called Assault and batteries, really good song with a well shot music video.
Their new single The American Dream just dropped and you should check it out
Most MMF fans hate the last album, personally I love it! But, not if they permanently switched to that sound. But, as a one off - it's great!
My top 10 from Memphis May Fire is “No ordinary love, Beneath the skin, the sinner, Vices, Prove me right, Virus, Alive in the light, this light I hold, the old me, bleed me dry.
I notice the Violent Gentleman gear, I know Memphis may fires lead guitarist plays hockey in Nashville along with Jay Weinberg from slipknot.
Yup! One of my buddies joins them regularly! Super sick.
If you'd react to some of their older stuff, gotta check out thier album Challenger, that whole album is goated. This band is what got me into heavy metal and metalcore, and its awesome seeing you check em out!
I liked that it wasn't that harsh. I'm not really into metalcore so that sounded really cool! Pretty cool abrupt ending too. Cought me off guard a bit.
If you want the best Memphis may fire album to put on repeat then you’ve gotta hear “challenger”. My friend Anthony sepe joined the band by that point and I bought the album just to help him out and ended up never putting it down. Amazing sound and some of the best instrumentation of that time in metalcore.
I know this is kind oul video but here is the track list off the new album.
Stream Memphis May Fire - Remade In Misery tracklisting
1. Blood & Water
2. Bleed Me Dry
3. Somebody
4. Death Inside
5. The American Dream
6. Your Turn
7. Make Believe
8. Misery
9. Left For Dead
10. Only Human (Feat. AJ Channer of Fire From The Gods)
11. The Fight Within
The Sinner is a banger from MMF
I love the Tank Hat Toss. It tells me your digging the song
big ups for the obscure A Static Lullaby reference. Truly an underrated and forgotten band
Their album "Rattlesnake!" is a god damned masterpiece.
I highly suggest The Sinner or Ghost in The Mirror. Ghost in The Mirror is early MMF. Plenty of gear, completely different sound from the band. Like a southern metalcore, was also in the soundtrack for a Saw movie. Highly Suggest. Great Video, keep up the great work as always Tank!
Brooo love this band. I met them and Matty a lot. So many signatures and pics. Matty wrote a lyric for me to get tattooed. Will never forget man. Super dope. They did just release another single that is a banger too, you should check it out!!
Damn i really liked this man.... they are intricate & detailed musicians and I loved that break down man.... its just a damn shame that it didn't last alot longer but now im interested in them I feel they must have songs that have a longer breakdown .....kick ass thanks Tank 2 more new band to add to the play list that I have discovered here on ur channel in the last year..... kick ass
i dnt knw this band to much, but now i go for it for sure ! yes, thanks tank. )))
Blood and Water or Vices are great songs by MMF.
I would also love to see Oceans Ate Alaska - High Horse :)
Blood and Water is a much better song, in my opinion! Still a banger though
^this
Taught me a new thing about my bass, I had to look it up...It has Humbucker pickups. 90's Ibanez 5 string Ergodyne, Thank you. 😁
It's very similar to the 5 on your wall
(hit up 'The Sinner' and 'No Ordinary Love' as well as 'Blood & Water' which I assume you were talking about in post discussion)
The epilepsy warning is nice to see. I've also seen on rare occasions content warnings for certain triggering topics - not common in the metal scene but in other forms of content discussions of suicide and other such things.
I was introduced to the band just 2 years ago by a close friend. They have some amazing tones, clean vocals. Very typical of them. The first song I was introduced to was "The Sinner." For some reason when I hear it I think about Minecraft - just a weird brain association.
When you said 2006 that really sounded about right to me. Of Mice and Men, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, Polaris. In my mind they all very well fit together.
The Sinner(Hollow Album)
Vices(Challenger Album)
No Ordinary Love(Unconditional Album)
Blood & Water(New Album)
Am I the only one picturing Chester singing everytime the singer gets to the final word of each line of the verse?
Tank!! Please do a reaction to August Burns Red - Composure!! Oldie but a goodie by them! One of my favorite songs. Would love to hear your analysis.
Dallas for culture, Fort Worth for fun! This isn't over done, it's still "out of the garage" feel here. Hard working drummer.
So...we can has more?
Definitely do “Blood and Water”. 🔥🤘🏼 you won’t regret it.
I have a soft fucking spot for any breakdown that starts with "GO". Not sure why🤣 as far as anything else by them, The Hollow album is solid from start to finish.
Hi Tank....can you pleeeease also react to Frog Leap Studio.Like: Sultan of Swing,Africa...with Outro or Hello or Mama....?
I've seen em all.
@@TankTheTech i see ,you know what ist good....
Missed the premiere. :(
Check out their song The Deceived of the second album, The Hollow. It's a pretty underrated song from them in my opinion.
PHINEHAS!!! New singles are absolutely filth! SHRED CITY!
I believe they have said they wont be releasing an album, just a series of singles.
According to their label, they're working on an actual album right now. Not sure if this song or any other recent ones will be on it though.
Not sure if you're interested in some older stuff. But you might really enjoy Indorsia - Salvation and Another Day's Armor - Won't Stop Me
I would definitely suggest checking out Traitor’s new song Menace II Soceity. Some of the best mixing I’ve ever heard and an absolute banger
Do Upon A Burning Body "B.M.F" that song absolutely bangs!
I like it. When he goes high pitched he reminds me of Chester Benington or Tom Delonge but the heavvier vocals evens it out nicely.
The breakdown was awesome! Great song :)
Blood & Water is great by MMF!!!
Assault & batteries- Ice Nine Kills next! Its sooooo good!
You gotta check out the single no altars from metalcore veterans war of ages
Hey Tank, please check out Zeal & Ardor. Maby the new single Run. 🤟 Keep on the brilliant work.
Such a good band. Blood & Water, there other new song, would be a great one to react to. And there are so many good songs on The Challenger. Prove Me Right, Jezebel, Vices, Alive in the Lights, etc.
Think I saw it in here but the first one they released, Blood & Water, was really good and I prefer that one to this one (although they're both bangers). If you were to do a reaction, I think Vices or Prove Me Right would be the best ones, but some of their older songs worth checking out:
From Sleepwalking - Sleepwalking (title track)
From The Hollow - The Sinner, The Victim
From Challenger - Prove Me Right, Vices, Alive in the Lights
From Unconditional - No Ordinary Love, Pharisees
Side note: Great video. Next one: new Wage War song, High Horse. Do that one. Please and thanks. :)
Yo that man has a OG Destiny 1 poster that’s fucking awesome
Been playing since Day 1 of Destiny 1!
@@TankTheTech nice what class you play?
You should also react to the new Archspire song Golden Mouth of Ruin. In case you don't already know of them they are a Canadian tech death band. Then there's also the new tracks from Trivium and Ice Nine Kills. All absolute bangers imo. So much good music has been coming out recently.
You should react to their song blood and water. It has a better chorus and their song vices from their album challenger!!
review their album challenger you wont be disappointed
We want blood and water reaction
Dude, you need to check out Archspire and their song Golden Mouth of Ruin.
Tank you have to check out for today featuring Matty mullins
Tank!!!!! You have to react to "Blood & Water" Right... NOW!! ;) Thanks for your awesome reactions! \../
it would be cool to see you do reaction to "cradle of filth nymphetamine" music video
Gotta do vices man 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Memphis May Fire said that they don’t intend to release any more albums. Just singles.
That's odd because they're label made it sound like they're working on a new album.
@@TankTheTech I wonder if the label hit em with "No album eh? 🤨"
earlier this morning i finally checked out Orbit Culture...i was broke before and now im even more broke because i got me some stuff from them holy fuck dude! They have just everything i want and need when it comes to metal. No idea how they do this. I mean plugging my brain into a computer and getting a read on what my music taste is like seems to be future stuff. Jesus i need to get merch! Next month (i hope^^)
Seriously man, they're the best band in metal right now, in my opinion. Their music is perfect.
@@TankTheTech i ALMOST agree^^ just because Ryan Kirby from Fit for a King exist hehe. He is in my opinion the best vocalist. But Orbit Culture just stepped ahead of everyone else in a matter of 1 hour its insane!
Yo tank I know this is not like anything u listen to but would u react to liSA and her first takes she is a Japanese vocalist and I think her sheer vocal talent is worth giving a shot.....
It's fifth. Tardigrade Inferno - Execution is Fun
For me it’s Beneath the skin or No ordinary love that gets me every time. This band is wonderful and have definitely making amazing music for years. Except their last album. It just wasn’t it for me at ALL but the rest is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wage War-High Horse!
Man you gotta check out Crypta or Nervosa
Are you going to react to any of their other songs on their album since it’s out?
Possibly.
@@TankTheTech it would be awesome if you did. There is about 3 songs I feel like would be in your wheel house like blood & water, bleed me dry, and left for dead. This are the best songs in my opinion.
You should do a reaction to Feuerschwanz live version of "I See Fire" ft. Angus McFife!! You want kick-ass folk metal with two incredible vocalists? It's yours, my friend!
If you want heavy listen to vices by Memphis may fire
I agree the bridge is way to short
Tank have you checked out darko US yet? Insects, mars attacks, and pale tongue are great starters
I haven't, but I've been hearing a lot about them lately.
@@TankTheTech well do your self a favor and hope on the alien techy hypetrain that is darko
WAAAIIIIITTTT... so you used to work with Pyro and I can`t find ANY rammstein in your channel?? What am I missing??
He has said he wants to expose new releases/unknown bands, and won’t be reacting to many bands/songs he already knows. He has used Rammstein as an example of a band he won’t react to because he is so familiar with them
@@designateddriveranddragons8845 Ahhh.. that makes sense! Thank you for that :)
Yeah, I've been listening to em for about 20 years and have seen them in concert as well. Too familiar for an authentic reaction video. Haha
@@TankTheTech Thanks for explaining. Like I said before, now it makes all sense xD
Do SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL - ZAVALI EBALO (Drum Play-Through by Evgeny Novikov) reaction please bro
Pink Floyd... Echoes...
Day 8 of asking for a reaction to Thundergod!!
What about mexican metal? Arcadia Libre - Salvaje, Arcadia Libre - En El Rio.
