Our Family is Growing - We have Baby Goats!

- Our 2024 is kicking off with a lot of excitement! Our goats have introduced some baby twin goats and another sweet baby goat to our ‘Family Farm’ and it has been such a thrill to watch all of the children respond differently to how they can care for and love on these precious little animals.
We were actually able to capture the birth of the latest baby goat to share the experience with you in the way we shared it with our own children.
It has been such a blessing to have a place here in Florida to raise our family and our animals, to share responsibilities with our children to learn how to manage and care for the animals and what it’s like to maintain a small farm. We believe these are valuable life skills that will help each of them as they grow older and learn to manager all sorts of responsibilities into their teenage and adult years.
We have been so blessed with wonderful neighbors and the perfect amount of land to keep our family busy and the weather here in Florida has been absolutely wonderful to enjoy this special experience!
We hope you’ll enjoy meeting our new baby goats and experiencing how our kids have been reacting and loving on them!

Chad I so love how you talk to the children and teach as you show them the birth. They learn so much from you and Erin but I want to tell you what an amazing Father, Husband and friend you are to your family. I so admire how you try to give each one special one on one when you can.

Chad, I love that your children are learning responsibility at an early age. I am one of six kids. We raised rabbits when we were young. At one time, we had around two hundred rabbits. We watered them in the morning and water and fed them in the afternoon. It was a lot of work but work never hurt anybody. Dad and I would bit her some for eating. My grandparents lived with us so there was 10 of us at the table. We gardened and canned everything we could. We picked strawberries, raspberries and blackberries and my Mom would make jam with them. It takes a lot to feed all of us and one salary was not really enough but with a lot of work, we made it. Blessings to you and Erin and your children.

Oh the baby goats are so beautiful !! When our boys were little we raised goats , rabbits , chicken, pigs and cows also had horses. We still have a horse our other horse we had about 30 years just died a few months ago. We sure do miss her ..

What an amazing video. My heart is so filled with love watching this. Goat milk soap and lotion is amazing and so good for children's skin. I love how gentle the older kids are with the smaller ones. I literally had tears when one of the older ones told Finny "it's 9k I've got you". Your children show love and kindness to their siblings.
