You had me at the candlesticks and it just got better from there! Super pumped up after watching this video. I loved every single thing you worked on! I would love to see a staging video. Your information is so helpful. Thanks so much Julie!
I really admire your sharing spirit Julie, so many designers and makers are tight lipped about their product design, we who craft and woodwork know that there re always people who will want to buy items that they love since they won’t ever make these things themselves. Great job with those adorable finds! I’m hunting for a duck now to put in my husband’s lodge out at our barn. Thanks for sharing!
Love everything Julie. You might want to consider using an outdoor sealer like Helms for the bricks. I don't think mod podge will hole up well over time. XXX
Love love love!!! I've been thrifting, flipping and reselling for over 30 years! I love that you teach me new tricks every video you put out! I've been staging but would truly love to learn more! Please, yes...a staging tips and tricks video! ❤
Oh my, the bricks. I have an entire building that fell down years ago, with bricks that easily over 100 years old. That is crazy. I need to get over there and start digging. Haha.
I don’t make things to sell but I always see others say they have a hard time staging. I’m sure everyone would love for you to do a video on it. Even though I don’t have a booth I’m remodeling my house and I can use the ideas for when I’m thrifting my own items and decorating. So yes please on the staging video. 😊❤️
I love everything you do! I don't live in your area or I would be at your house buying stuff. BTW - I found more weathered wood at the cabin we are renovating. I think I need to make some drop cloth pocket boards from them.
another great flip for profit video!! i was so excited to see you feature the upcycled chair back...a couple years ago i did a similar flip... I hauled a set of 4-Cane Back Louis French Bistro chairs (just the full caned-back portions of the chairs like yours, but they included the 2-back legs) at a flea market from a furniture maker that had gone out of business...i chalk-painted the backs white, distressed and stenciled a small design on the frame and added a double-hook/wrought iron coat hook to the lower part of the caned frame...i sold them as wall hangings for coats, keys, purses, etc...i love all your creativity and look forward to your next installment! thank you again and make it a great week! :)
You are such an inspiration. I wish I lived closer so I could purchase some of your stuff. I’m in the process of getting a “she shed”, I will be copying your techniques once I am able to have my work space. Keep up the great work.
Hi Julie, yes I would love to see a staging video. Also, I'm always so amazed at the beauty of your Transformations. You definitely have an eye for that type of thing.
Ideas for ladder back chair: tiny hooks on every cross piece. Hang on wall or lean on dresser. Use to hang jewelry. Or: decorative knobs or an antique doorknob mounted on crosspiece to hang anything, dried herbs, hats, rooting vases....love the versatility of this piece❤️
Luv everything Julie. Once again U outdid yourself...sooo cute. What talent & creativity. How do we buy things from you? Have a great week. Luv ya from Texas.🌻🌻🌻
Hi Julie. Love the oysters in the jar the brick books, the white giant sticks, the chair back. All blooming great. Look forward to your thrift flips 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾👍🏾😁🤩😍
I love!!! old bricks.💖. Talking about the toliet paper holder--cypress wood can't be cheap. I love cypress or cedar! I have a tray to paint and now I know what I am going to try--baking soda and paint. I have a duck and it will be painted same way. You have given me so many ideas, again! The only person I have to please is me and that is hard enough😄. I thrifted a white magazine rack for $5 and it is by my bed for various things. Yours turned out great (of course). Thanks for all the tips.
Another awesome video Julie! I absolutely love your flips! You are sooo creative! I swear I go into a thrift store and my mind just goes blank...I literally have to write down on a piece of paper what you flip and how you didi it!!! I hope to be able to do some wood flips soon, just waiting on this silly weather! In Ohio, we have 70 degrees days and then 3 days later we have snow!@! Ugh.... Love your channel!
I absolutely love the antique bricks you rescued from the trash! And the tree box! I was thinking it might look good year round with the right kind of staging! Maybe a pretty ficus tree surrounded by potted flowers for spring. Beautiful in a foyer or even an office! Thanks for another inspirational video!!
Do you have a technique to make wood look like those old fence boards, like you use for the pouches, with the drop cloth. I am just starting, and I want my products to look really good. I know you have some great techniques. I definitely need to grab some drop cloth. Where is it located at in the stores? Is it by the paint? I just want to thank you for showing us what sells, so we don't waste our time.
I don't generally get the oyster shell crafts but that jar with the shells and greenery was beautiful. Loved the bricks as well. I know there are some out in the yard. Going shopping in my yard, lol.
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns Thank you for responding to my questions. I really love the gray looking wood of the fence or barn wood. I will check out all of the videos, so I can get a feel for it. Hey sweet jambalaya Julie, I was a quilter- those oval hoops are my favorite cuz you could get them in your lap easier. They are $25-35🤣. Easier to spot cuz they have the wood blocks by the screw, and are thicker. PS the bricks are so historical 😘sweet. Elizabeth
