this camera angle is awesome
King of practice court.
If Dimitrov played in matches like he plays in practise he wouldve been n1 and had multiple GS
@@user-jr6th5rp5k Your reasoning is flawed because top players don't play anywhere near their best on practice courts. Having a morning erection is not enough....it need to stay strong when with the girl.
Daddy Federer in other words ;-)
Which kind you are ?
😂
Dimitrov's one-handed backhand gets more beautiful over time. It ages as well as a fine wine.
I think he has the prettiest one-handed backhand I've ever seen. It's even slightly more aesthetic than Federer because he flairs it more at the end (although they are virtually identical up to that point). Stan still has the best (most effective one-handed backhand of all-time in my humble opinion), but when it come to the pure beauty of the stroke, I prefer Dimitrov's.
His shot selection has improved too. More mature which improved his backhand consistency.
This camera angle is so much better than the angle shown on tv. Really like this view a lot
Dimitrov turns into prime Federer during practice 😂
Nowhere near prime Federer lol, but a bit closer to the legend, yes!
That was a lot of fun to watch.
Two of my favourite players on tour right now😊
3:12 What a boss!
4:25 Look at that backhand, sick!
Neither one of them is going to risk injury during a practice....so no dramatic moves here....
I totally agree with you. This is just a slightly more intense warm up, so nobody should be looking at this as an indication of how Grigor or Novak will truly perform in the tournament.
@@Tennisisreallyfun novak mishitting is an indicator, he has barely played on clay lately
@@Lanky009 As a tennis player myself, I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I have hit balls out a few times warming up only to be completely locked in when the matches really started. Trust me, this tells us nothing. Novak injured himself down in Australia and then reached the semis of the AO, taking a set off of Sinner in that match. Don’t worry yet, just wait and see what happens😉
Novak injured himself? He just played poorly. He's the goat, but he even acknowledged that he didn't play well. Didn't blame injury.
@@Tennisisreallyfun tells us nothing? Bro he's clearly lacking clay court time. Doesn't mean he can't win RG, but you're being foolish acting like this is nothing
My two favourite players on tour right now!
Dimitrov court-level is just so clean and satisfying to watch
Exactly that. What a beauty he has to his game.
Goat vs Practice Goat🐐
The way they hit the ball so violently is crazy‼
3:13 that flick though!
Casper Ruud was right, when he said Djokovic is a bit rusty in clay. The shots are consistent, but his running is catching up. He needs to preserve his energy now more than ever for GSs.
Yeah djokovic doesn't have very good feel of the ball at the moment, balls flying long and half way up the net, not surprising given how little he's played, but he'll still probably make the latter rounds 😅 dimitrovs movement is so explosive, incredible really. He's an amazing athlete
Dimitrov is the practise court champ
Cómo suenan esos golpes che! Tremendos saques, buenos drives , les debe haber sumado mucho a ambos
ICYMI -> these two also played a practice set at Indian Wells earlier this year -> ua-cam.com/video/StNXX45ek2g/v-deo.html
Djoker isn't in good form, very rusty. Too bad. But I think his main goals of the season are the French Open, the Olympics (most of all) and Wimbledon.
Dimitrov beats everyone in practice. He's a beast.
Good luck, Nole.
Olympics? LOL
Dimitrov won against Alcaraz in a crazy way in Miami, It was quite unexpected but then he couldnt sustain that level in the final, for whatever reason. I think Dimitrov problem is mentality.
In the Last few years Grigor is better and better Every single match.. hope he won!!!❤️❤️❤️
5:48 What a great one-hand backhand!
When I practise I play like a champion but when counting the points I am not playing any more like a champion. Should practise more without counting points. :)
Or play in a match like there are no points. But it’s hard if there is no external counter.
very intense.
do you have to buy tickets to see practice days?
I wish that tennis angles could be more like this instead of the antiquated versions we see on TV now. This brings a whole new appreciation to the game and new viewers would finally say that tennis isn't boring.
Nah, i prefer the regular view. Want to see both players full in the court.
Idemmo bréeeeee
Dimitrov getting ready to do a Wawrinka at french open
I wish. Footwork isn’t there
@@bryanmartin5901 Age or skills ?
It's a practice, but Dimitrov played like his life depend on. No wonder Djoker played like this, he needs some matches here to get good practice and rhythm for RG.
C'mon Dimi!!
Not great from Novak but he has time to iron those technicalities out before Rome and Roland Garros starts. Grigor looks solid, as per his recent run of form lately. Even in losses, he's been competitive most of the time.
His worse losses this year against Borges, Rune and Mensik were mostly because he was so unclutch. He had sooo many BPs in all those but couldn’t capitalise and then got easily broken or lost tiebreaks after having set points. Pain. But he won a lot of close matches too so at least that, hard to win every close match I guess.
courts look so nice
Vamos Grigor !!!
Would be great if Dimitrov does a Wawrinka at french open
If there’s one tournament he can pull out a trick out of the hat it’s Wimbledon. I’d say AO actually but he screwed it up this year, still not over that one lol.
@@gabrielametodieva8360 For sure his results on clay have never been impressive:-) I think Wawrinka had one or two good runs at MC (he won it ?) and Rome (he beated Nadal once ?), but don't recall if it was after or before his french open trophy
Grigor played some great points, he was clearly the better player. Novak still looks like 2024 Novak.
vamos nole
Amazing practice novak and Dimitrov🎾🎾
Both best players in activity by far
This is how tennis matches should be no line people no umpires just play the fucking game, set, match
watch out for dimitrov! He could be a real threat in this tournament
lmfao novak was playing at 0.1 percent
Fed level
Ok we arrived to the dramatic Italia :D all the time the noise of the ambulances...
Hope GOAT gets deep in this tourney and really ramp it up at roland garros. As of date, he is slow, finding his foot and timing. Doesnt look encouraging atm as a nole fan 😢
Que día juega el anciano acabado de Djocovid
the king went hiding... finally come out
Grigor, the lord of practice!
Either se inteleg au ace easily creditable Amin
Meet Grigor Dimitrov, the King of Practice Matches.
Oh my, Dimitrov beats Noleeee????
Djokovic confidence is very low at the moment
Yes, a lot of errors and low mood.
Not nearly enough match play coming into a grand slam event and on clay.
Grigor, king of the practice courts
Please I need Novak and Raffa to play one more tme!
Nole: that guys bum was putting me off.
Even though it's a practice set, you can still tell Djokovic is not in good form. The end is near.
Djokovic will at least reach the QFs. I wonder if Rafa will get past Hurkacz R2
most likely not but i hope
On clay? 😮
I would think so..
@@telmoliciousRafa stands no chance unfortunately, hubby serve will be too much
Rome is very slow and Rafa is a notch better that at Madrid, so i dont know.
Rafa could withdraw last minute too
When in Rome.
What happened, happened.
Dimitrov is the greatest player in practice no doubt about it!
2:50 "NONONONONONONONONONONONONONO"
Dimi's nonos 😂
The big three are starting to look small.
NOLE campeón
how does dimitrov not have any slams?
Soon at this rate he will win practice Wimbledon .
2:18
Nole needs speed. Young ones to fast
I realize it’s not easy at his age, but Djokovic needs to work on his serve.l as well as his stamina.
O.k. it is only practice, but if i compare Nadal's practice and Djokovic's practice, there is a big difference! And Nadal said he played only with 80%.
Nole likes & respects Dimitrov; they are good friends. If you disrespect Dimitrov, you disrespect Nole.
Not nearly enough match play for Djokovic coming into a grand slam event and on clay. He should have played in Madrid after his early loss in Monte Carlo.
Semi isnt early lose
@@lasergame33.. It is for him I'd argue, especially for a smaller tournament. The #1 ranked player in the world should reach the final at least. And don't forget the loss to Luca Nardi earlier this year.
Novak got outplayed by baby Fed, I wish Federer could come back, and beat all of them!
Sería maravilloso que Nadal ganase a Djoko en Roma, es poco probable pero sería fantástico para él de cara a RG.
don't even need to watch to know who won
Wtf is novak doing so many moon lobs for??
DIMITROV
Novak 💖 continuă să mai lucrezi. Nici nu ai meciuri și ești foarte slab ! Revino-ți în fire !!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Nothing special on Novak shot - what’s going on??? He seems content to just get the ball in with medium pace. Drop shots all he has??
Wow no wonder Djokovic has yet to win a title this year. 😐
Novak is far from his best.
Djokovic looked super rusty. Djokovic fan
Not nearly enough match play coming into a grand slam event and on clay.
@@sohailhinesyep. He needs to go deep in Rome. He could've played Madrid. I think he overestimated himself after getting to semis in MC. Hopefully he gets it together
@@sohailhines I also worry about the coaching situation
Time to hang up the racket. Bye bye....
@@sohailhines I think he actually sacrificied Madrid to look at RG Wimbledon Olympics as a 3 event swing. He didn't want to be too burnt out in Wimbledon and Olympics. Makes perfect sense. Plus avoid meaningless Miami, indian wells tourneys, the other guys are burning out and we haven't even started the first slam! He thought this completely through beforehand. Epic
Now we know what would happen if 38 year old federer faced 37 year old djokovic
Federer did nothing good on clay
Nothing
@@lasergame33.. Yeah, on clay he's only made 26 finals and won 11 titles, including 1 French Open. Clearly, he did nothing good on clay...😂
Novak isn't in good form
where is the practice set nadal vs stef??
Nadal defeated himself because of his physical fitness, unfortunately, and age has a role in poor fitness, especially Nadal, who played the most offensive attack unlike the rest. And the dirt drains Nadal very much, the best example. Watch the final summary of the last version and how he crushed Novak in the final with three sets to zero. Right, Novak is a distinguished and dangerous player, but his performance is not the reason for Nadal's loss. The reason is poor physical fitness and Nadal when he is physically fit, no one can stop him, even if Novak is at his best
Nadass will hold the trophy, that's the reality.
djokvic is washed
Djokovic is doomed
Djokovic need retire
dimitrov is a joke
😂 Jealous much?! 😂 Meanwhile, tall, ripped, incredibly handsome Dimitrov laughs all the way to the bank depositing more than $26M in prizemoney & lord knows how much more in endorsements - yeah, really funny 😂
