Thought my father was going to have an embolism. He was the straightest entertainment lawyer (very very very successful). Never saw him have a drink. It was actually hilarious

I remember this originally had A LOT of air play here in the US as an up and coming hit…When it stalled at #41 on the Billboard charts, the song ceased from being played on our A.M. radio dials. Elvis in ‘75 would bring this into the Top 40 but without the original moving feeling heard here.
