Great instructive video Leon. i've one question: why do you set your input gain of the block at 69% ?
That's a mistake; a rather hilarious mistake, but a mistake nonetheless. Should be 100 %
@@LeonTodd 69%, nice
The hold trick! Axe Fx is an amusement park of fun stuff to play with and Leon is currently making some of the best tutorial videos for the platform.
I'm an overgrown kid in a very large candy store.
does the FM3 has all the same reverbs and rooms ?
Yes
Came for the spring reverb and drips.. Got it at 16:12 :)
Hey Leon love the video i know its off topic but is there any way to get something similar to dynamic presence in the FM3 ? Its discontinued in rhe amp block now
I was wondering, is it possible to use a pre amp of one modeled amp with the power section of another modeled amp with the axe FX? Sorry, nothing to do with the topic of the video but it just came to my mind.
No, but you can tweak the deep parameters in the amp block to match those of another amp. EG take the settings from a JCM800 power section and apply them to a 5150, while changing the tube type, supply sag, tone stack and much more.
You can use two amp blocks, turn off the Poweramp to the firs blocks preamp you'd like to use and set the other amp blocks preamp to vintage neutral for basically no preamp.
Them verbs sound so good. Excellent playing broheim!
Great vid Leon. Have I mentioned how much I love these Axe vids you do? ;) Seriously, great info and thank you!
I appreciate it mate. What a fun machine!
Talkin about my REVERB ATION
is there a way to pan reverbs opposite for duals? maybe with parallel, send/returns, and a panner
Yeah, use 2 verbs in parallel and set the respective balances hard left and right
Hello from Norway
I’m a Axe Fxiii user, and I think you’re the best instructor I can think of.🎸👏
Thank’s for many good instruction videos, and Stay on the good way😊☕️
Wow, thanks! Have a great weekend mate :)

Same to you😊
with the release of the axefx fm3, wont the ambient reverbs and delays not sound different since the processing power is less? in the same way ax8's reverbs dont sound nearly as good as the axefx2's reverbs
Very useful information. Thank you!
Hi, do you also have problem with recording delay in axe fx III ? For example when you record something, everything is slightly off. People seem to resolve this issue by setting appriopriate value in 'recording delay' option in DAW, but I didnt have this kind of issue in fxII. maybe do a video about recording with axe fx III ? :)
I adjusted it and it sorted everything out, but that is a great idea on covering all the ins and outs of recording. I'm writing notes for it already!
How can you set up Reverb hold on the FC 6 or 12?
another great 'tubetorial, thank you, sir!
Great tutorial. Thanks!
Another great vid, Leon. Well done.
What kind of guitar are you using?
