Update for those who do not know… The killer and the mastermind were arrested. The mastermind is the ex girlfriend of the mother (they dated during one of her and the fathers breakups). The ex girlfriend was upset she got back with the father(my cousin) and had him set up to be robbed and killed. I’m not sure if she wanted the dude to kill the mother and children too but he attempted to. Thankfully not all three that were there was killed. The mastermind watched the killing on FaceTime, which is how they caught her since the killer wasn’t talking. They tried to delete text messages but they were retrieved. She even attended the funeral. But she has been caught.

Kids are resilient at 11, I adopted my daughter at that age and she lost both of her biological parents in two years of each other due to drugs and alcohol. This is so much more tragic, my heart breaks for this little girl. She’s a survivor obviously and I’m glad she has a sibling and what seems to be a large extended family that really loves her. This is the reason my aunt always told me NO MATTER WHAT NEVER ANSWER THE DOOR. She used to say "idc if moses was knocking on the door and he said that JESUS HIMSELF sent him, DO NOT OPEN THAT DOOR!" I will most definitely get back to following that same routine and to always teach my kids, nieces and nephews.

True that..... Just recently had a (ex)neighbor who accused me of cat napping her missing cat, which I had nothing to do with of course, as I told her I've never owned a pet. She confronted me once, then the second time brought her ex-boyfriend who then made threats that he basically was going to take matters in his own hands. So the next day around 8pm, while me and my kids were watching tv, we get a knock at the door. I didn't answer cause I am not about to answer my door at that time of night without me expecting someone. The person kept knocking for a few minutes. Then stopped for a little bit, and came back knocking( banging) on our door. Since the tv was playing loudly the my girls were near the window and heard a click sound, not sure if it was from outside or the tv. Anyways we started praying, and praying in tongues and finally the person went away. The Lord and his Angels of Protection heard our Prayers, There is Power in Jesus Name. I believe if I would have opened up the door it probably would have ended just like this incident.

Kids are resilient at 11, I adopted my daughter at that age and she lost both of her biological parents in two years of each other due to drugs and alcohol. This is so much more tragic, my heart breaks for this little girl. She’s a survivor obviously and I’m glad she has a sibling and what seems to be a large extended family that really loves her. This is the reason my aunt always told me NO MATTER WHAT NEVER ANSWER THE DOOR. She used to say "idc if moses was knocking on the door and he said that JESUS HIMSELF sent him, DO NOT OPEN THAT DOOR!" I will most definitely get back to following that same routine and to always teach my kids, nieces and nephews.
9 times out of 10, someone knocking in the middle of the night is up to no good. If you don't have a security door (which everyone should have and apartments should be required to have) don't open the door without expecting the worst.

The sister of the lesbian was arrested after this crime happened on an unrelated murder charge. she killed another young woman during a home invasion and the woman was found by her young daughter. Had the sister of the lesbian been picked up sooner, she wouldn't have had an opportunity to kill the second woman. wild. love triangle gone to hell.

True that..... Just recently had a (ex)neighbor who accused me of cat napping her missing cat, which I had nothing to do with of course, as I told her I've never owned a pet. She confronted me once, then the second time brought her ex-boyfriend who then made threats that he basically was going to take matters in his own hands. So the next day around 8pm, while me and my kids were watching tv, we get a knock at the door. I didn't answer cause I am not about to answer my door at that time of night without me expecting someone. The person kept knocking for a few minutes. Then stopped for a little bit, and came back knocking( banging) on our door. Since the tv was playing loudly the my girls were near the window and heard a click sound, not sure if it was from outside or the tv. Anyways we started praying, and praying in tongues and finally the person went away. The Lord and his Angels of Protection heard our Prayers, There is Power in Jesus Name. I believe if I would have opened up the door it probably would have ended just like this incident.
