Horus Heresy tournament at the Warhammer Fest, we all literally missed the quick 15min briefing to kickstart the Doubles games because we were ALL watching the Horus Heresy reveals. Everybody cheered when the Knight was revealed as plastic with ALL the available options for the two other similar Knights (Castigator, Acheron, Mechnicum Atrapos) so it could be pushed towards $200 for you (maybe £100-£120 for us in the UK, I'm guessing). We'll have to wait and see! 😁 The plastic Deredeo Dreadnought after summer, I cannot wait for that, and the MKVI Assault Squad that'll probably see their release near the end of the year.
Re 17:50 Death has a lot more imagery to draw on than the more abstract concepts like war/scheming/pleasure. Nurgle sculpts can more easily tap into depictions of hell and suffering.

About the inquisition kill team I have the same feelings. It could be very cool KT like Inquisitior +lots of differents agents. So much of character and kill team customization was wasted....
I feel like the finger trees would be great as a kitbash for Nurgle’s garden terrain. Add a face that’s in pain (or group of faces) give it a green or sickly flesh colour dripping sores….
No Inquisitor in this warband. The one you called a priest with one candle is the the war band leader and is a Interrogator, what Gideon Ravenor was before his promotion to full Inquisitor.
This is a great idea because they could release "combat patrol" lists for the versus boxes they release and for the army refresh boxes. Rumor has it a Dark Angels refresh is around the corner, so give a combat patrol list to the inevitable big box of new DA models.
I love the demon prince. It tells so much about the warp. As if the warp is like ai art, having an easy time manipulating reality but then struggling with context and getting hands all wrong.
Agree with you on the Age of Sigmar naming conventions. I'm totally comfortable using a one word name for every faction. Apart from the almighty Soul-Blop Blee-Bop, of course. That goes without saying, really.

Yup that deamon prince was one of my favorite figures got him for my Khorne Army but never finished him need to get back into model making... thought all my paints probably are dead after sitting 10-15 years now.
Honestly wish they would just fold the two vampire armys into one especially since the vampire stuff is all moving into the direction of abominations and body horror anyway, made sense keeping them separate when the soul blight were nobles and high lords but half bat monster lady now isnt that far of the ghouls

There are already GW models over $200. I am UK so sorry if the prices arent entirely right but the King Brodd gargant kit for AoS should be $210. The cerastus might hit that price point
I can’t wait for the lancer, it’s not the most competitive pick but I really like the idea of a galant Dread Blade that doesn’t know he’s fallen to Chaos and has been doing unspeakable evil. My Chaos household are firmly renegades so he’ll fit right in.
I like the idea of the kt box but I just cannot get on with the cultist kits as kits, lovely sculpts but they're easy to build in the worst way, so they're useless if you want to achieve a certain themeing or a project in mind I know "just kitbash it xd" but I was already doing that those kits add nothing

One day, I need someone to really dig deep into what makes miniature models so much more expensive than other model kit hobbies. Is it the cost of sculpting, material/equipment use, scale of operation, etc. On surface I really cannot see why a Gundam model or an Tamiya full detail battle tank can cost so much less than a plastic knight or an imperial heavy tank. There must be something (beside greed)
It doesn't seem to be much besides greed. Smaller companies that are trying to compete with GW might struggle to keep prices as low as we'd like, but with GW it's pure greed. They make a substantial profit on every bit of plastic they sell.

I was also hoping for an Eisenhorn/Ravenor style inquisition retinue and honestly I'm kinda disappointed. I don't actually know what I would have wanted though lol. Edit: Actually you know what, give me a Eisenhorn killteam...We need mini's for Harlon Nayl, Kara Swole, pre chair Ravenor, giant swordwoman who's name I can't remember. I feel like Eisenhorn is one of the more popular book series out there, why not capitalize on that?

It however, is not something you can throw through a wall haha. It might go through a wall but its gunna be broken as hell lol. It wasnt easy to get together a decade ago. Im just waiting for an arm to fall off to pin it lol
The vampire gorilla's are definitely going into the ranks of my death guard. I like the boxes but only for chopping it up n not because I want to build the army they're suggesting
