I’m rank 6000 and was ranked with 4 guy team all spoke spanish and all ranked 10-12k and the game finished with us losing 13-3 and I had 25 kills and the 4 guys with 10-12k elo not one has over 5 frags… And we played ranks between 2000-4000…. make it make sense???
Make it a hybrid between old Overwatch and Dota 2 MM. For every win or loss you get 100 or lose 100 points (or whatever number seems appropriate). It is set at tuat value. Up until 10 or 15k you factor in the individual performance. Performing good means gaining more and losing less, performing bad the opposite. Above that threshold only win or loss counts since by then you should be able to communicate and work together with your team to win. Yes ofc people could still get boosted but you will never prevent that.
Premier ranks are so broken....sometimes u got like 900 pts even if u lose like 1-2 games in a row. Matchmaking could be more accurate but is not popular anymore. Some guys exploit that boost (900pts per win) and then you play with them at 20k and they play like 12k
From what I understand it’s a big brain part on valve, as the season progresses and people scale higher elo, they generally reward more to everyone so that it won’t be as taxing and demotivating to chase to top leaders. And as the closer you are to the top, expect to lose more elo with losses. I could be wrong though.
Ranks don't mean anything right now because many people haven't climbed to where they level off yet. Also, cheaters skewing their and your rank. What is Shroud right now? 13k? His skill is better than that, but he hasn't played enough yet to climb the ladder.
I played on 2 different accounts, I just finished the second one it got 18000 points. (Cheaters, bunch of loss matches, really bad points in matches, I even left some.) The other account about two month ago got ranked; it was 8000... (So if you rank up now, you get 18-20k)
Well because you can 5 stack against randoms the rankings get a bit weird because you can easily boost your friends if you play together in a discord server with strats etc against solo players in the other team. Like the odds you winning with set instructions are so high and therefore rankings dont make sense
I feel that you often aren't considering the skill of the other players in the clip. Like of course you will ace with awp if everyone walks right into your bullets. The issue with elo is that it only considers the outcome of the game, which means bad players can get boosted and good players can be held back. I personally think this should change, but I also don't care.

I mean it literally just measures win rate, something no modern elo system does. You could drop 35 every game in a bad 5 stack and be perma stuck in low elo. Premier should take personal performance into account. - Faceit 2.5k elo

The system is so effed up, my friend who last played CS:GO 7 years ago and was mg1, has no clue what he's doing, can't shoot, doesn't have any kind of mechanics, started playing CS2 with me and got a 13,5k rank whilst i who was a LE-Supreme player in CS:GO got a 12,7k for my first rank😂😂 It doesn't make any sense. my friends who started playing less than a year ago, who peaked at nova master-mg1 have had ratings of 15k up to 27k and i've been to Supreme many times and average LEM, i've peaked only 14,999 at 8000hours. The rating system is just fucked up.
Premier ranks mean nothing lmao. I got placed 14k and then my rank expired, I played my one game slapped a bunch of boosted leaderboard players went 15-7 before a surrender and got 24.6k elo lol
I had to battle my way through rank 1,500-15,000 now that I’m here and two games from 16,000, I feel like my team mates are so much better. I was having a hard time finding reliable team mates in solo que (expected) but now it’s just way easier to chill
The Game is shit and its nearly dead, the game is not even small broken its fully broken. Skins crash down, no one buy skins anymore. Im wondering why even people open cases, its now a total lost of your money. The game is UNFIXABLE mark my words, CS is dead im sad about it but no new anti cheat. Release some ALpha with really dangarous bugs like XXS its insane and valve get the credits for it. CS2 is bad asf and valve cant fix this mess the next 2 years. RIP CS
Anyone confused about people getting 900 or 300 per win no matter what just hasn't played enough games yet. Yeah, when you're fresh off getting your rank that shit is crazy. You basically cant lose mmr. But after 100 games or so it starts to even out. 3 loss streak and youre -300 +100. 3 win streak and youre back to +300 -100. Its just all about streaking.
Cs2 is the worst community gamers had. I just play for fun and dont really know why my team give me molotov and jump when i throw 4 of them died 2 rounds same they do. I got dc and cant play after that my rank loss 1k this game is not a newbie friendly!!

Like if you get shit on 3 times in a row for whatever reason, Everyone knows there's bad cheating problems as well as smurfing, it doesn't feel as bad and you feel a bit better about playing again, continuing to try, instead of just saying, that's it I don't wanna destroy my rank. tbh I don't have a lot of time like I used to, so some nights I genuinley am not as consistent as other nights. Doesn't mean I am not the rank I am, just I am tired from work and only have time for like 4 games lol I can't grind as hard to get out of elo hell or practice constantly like some, but I also don't want to get on and fight a bunch of shitters, no one improves fighting them.(I also know when I am not 100% on and won't go ruining others matches, I generally will play with friends or something, before any one tries to say "Well, why are you on ruining others games when you know you won't play well idiot" lol)
if you use the date at the bottom left of these clips you can better guess the ranks, think about how much elo is inflating and how low it was even a few months ago, ranks are so volatile that you need to guess from when the top 1k cap wasn't even 14k, now its like 21000
I have 200hours and im 14k elo and yeah my aim is good but somehow all my team mates are do much worse with 2k hours or more. All of yhese clups i thought were easliy over 12k
This COULD be a fun series. But it kinda falls flat because of reasons you say yourself. Ranks are all over the place and very few people have the rank "they should have". And the ones who have their correct rank, might loose it or exceed it dramatically in a day. So any guess you or the viewers make with you have any weight behind them. Because it doesn't matter what you guess or say. I think you should come back to this though! Once ranks are figured out.
I was looking the leetify stats earlier, avg aim score was was beyond any other stats avg. It could be that no brain aimers are more common but i suspect a softlock epidemic

Those guys probably used a vpn to change their region, I would bet they deserve 12k in their region. Did they have high ping?

happened to my friend too. I had to carry him having 26k and i was 13k. He really didn't know how to play, no utility use or crosshair placement.
