@@bymarcissus Gotcha- if it happened on both printers, could be a driver issue. Do you have a mac? There’s usually a AirPrint version of the printer driver (that’s often defaulted to) or the regular driver (that you download from manufacturer website. You can check which version on System settings>printers and scanners>clicking on the printer you’re using> under kind if its the AirPrint version will say that at the end. With my HP, I had better luck with the AirPrint driver weirdly, but with my epson it prefers the actual driver. So I would try the version you don’t have and see if that helps.

@@bymarcissus Everyone is going to have their own opinions and needs in terms of printers…and it will depend on which specific epson printer you were using- if you had an epson eco tank (anything below an 8500/8550 or 15000 which are the only eco tank photography printers) or any epson desktop style printer (that only comes with CMYK ink), then the HP will be pretty comparable with quality. My Epson XP 15000 is kind of one of the cheaper gateway photography printers epson offers…and the increased quality and color beats my old HP hands down. But there’s a price for those capabilities- the ink is also more expensive (bc it also has a red and gray ink in addition to the regular CMYK inks) and it’s more finicky and has a bigger learning curve than my HP did (which was very reliable and rarely had a misprint)- I’ve done more nozzle checks, printhead alignments etc in one month with the epson than I think I did the years I had my HP lol. So it’s not going to be worth it to everyone- but was to me! Photography printers are more of a hassle, so it’s always best to go with the lowest level of printer that you’re happy with- esp tank models which are the cheapest in terms of ink 👍 so a really smart choice.

I never had problems with HP , This is the first time this happened to me because i was trying to print with the laptop. I suggest you to get the HP. ^_^

@@bymarcissus We are in the same situation, HP of this type of model is starting to fail, the blade does not grip and I can no longer print in high quality like the first time.

What paper are you using? It is best to use the same paper as the printer. Depends on the paper .

Hey, I bought this printer from Amazon but unfortunately it’s not available right now. And yes this printer for small business is great.

It’s good if it doesn’t leave dots( pizza wheel marks) but personally I like HP more.

Yes, but personally i don’t like Epson now, It used to mark pizza wheels ( little black / white dots) on my paper. I use Hp now.

I use canva app to make business card.

I used different settings for different type of paper. And yes, I use the same ink that comes with the printer, which is 4 bottles. I hope i’ve answered your question.

Glad you did despite the video isn't that recent 😊 I saw you just change the type of paper in printer settings, but you didn't change any setting such as rendering color profile, ecc., didn't you? If you have more detailed settings and tips to share, you would save my day 🙏 By now, I've just used matte thick and good quality paper but the colors are a bit dull, especially darker ones. I've bought the same glossy paper as you did, so I'll wait to see the results because yours were pretty good and I can't figure it out why I can't replicate them

Update: I tried the same glossy paper you used and the result is very good!! I'll maybe also try the matte paper you bought to try again but at the moment I'm very happy and relieved. Thank you again!! 😊

@@Capitan_Findus Did you buy the glossy paper? I plan on buying a couple tomorrow. The matte thick paper was very dull for me too.

@@TiffanyChantee yes, buying the same glossy paper you did solved the problem, wish I could find a proper matte paper though

Little dots appear when the printed page is too wet with ink. The wet ink then gets picked up by the small wheels or "cogs" located under the exit guide. it looks like someone rolled a pizza wheel across your paper. Hope this helps .

Dye ink always fade. Pigment ink woudn’t
