On my last slow run I tried to robotically and quickly skip between left and right, as like a machine only knowing these two states. This resulted in a much harder push off, and if I was trained right with the right stiffness in calves and achillesses.... it would dramatically increase my pace. But at first it lowered my heartrate 4 or 5 beats and put much stress on my achillisses. And when I let myself slightly fall forwards my legs will run faster almost automatically. But I need much practice. 2017 I could go for 20km long run. Now I run 5 km only. 😢 I tried too hard 3 months ago and had to pause 2 months because of injury. Otherwise I would go for 10 or 15km again
