Hi Abby. White Pines is available with Malletech at www.mostlymarimba.com. It is part of the Home Trilogy, a 3 movement work written for Nexus. Quartet plus solo marimba. Also available as a by itself in sextet plus solo marimba. Hope you enjoy! Cheers, MJB
Burritt is using his signature series from Malletech, Ivan is using his Go2 Series from Malletech for his top three and a Malletech bass mallet concert series for his bottom
I used Malletech MB 8’s. But they were very worked in. I would now use Burritt Ensemble series 13’s with maybe an Ensemble Series #7 in my bass mallet. But 4 of the 13’s would also work well. Thanks for checking out the video
Good times! Looking forward to the next one.
Always good time brother!
Watching it over and over with the score in hand... absolutely incredible. Thank you, Mr. Burritt.
incredibly written and performed
This is awesome. My favorite part is in the recap when Ivan goes back to that bass line at 6:26. Nice writing, great playing!
Awesome Professor Burritt. I will definitely buy a copy at PASIC. I love the camera angles. Thank you for what you do for the percussion family.
Great work Michael, fantastic performance both :)
Thanks Joby!
これはすごい。 演奏家二人が拮抗している。 技のコミュニケーションという感じ。

I was captured by your performance at PASIC 2015 of your piece White Pines. I was wondering if there were any recordings available for purchase?

A friend of mine and I have an interest in playing this, what octave marimbas does it require? Thanks

Is this song (audio) copyrighted? The song is awesome!!!!!
I couldn't find a GEMA (collecting society in Germany) entry, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not copyrighted.
