The city should put up bollards at the entrances to alleys like the one at 12:40, that lane is way too narrow for vehicles without any form of sidewalk for pedestrians. I think I saw some in Amritsar so it's not unheard of

Why do so many people wear long sleeves and even jackets if it is so hot? I would think it was cool there by what I see many people wearing.

I was just in Jordan and everyone is covered up because of the sun and the fabric is light to stay cool. It's counterintuitive. It also gets very chilly at night.

Even in NZ we are asked to put in sunscreen cream or cover up exposed skin surface to protect against skin cancer. These guys in India are used to it. Women normally carry an umbrella or cover themselves with scarf, veils or saris.

its old delhi these streets are very old,narrow and crowded while new delhi is a planned city with wide roads and streets
you can tell its old delhi by just looking at the old weird buildings with zero plannning which were illegally constructed on the streets
