Yes to a PDI video! This was super interesting. If I was a customer, I would have liked taking off some of the plastic covers myself. On the screens, but also steering wheel, seat and other stuff. Knowing you are the first one to ever use it, kind of thing.
I asked my dealer not to remove any plastic covers from my California to protect the chairs and bench seat until I picked up the vehicle. The dealer, a little surprised by my request, took me literally and let me find all the plastics exactly as shown by Chris in the video. It was a rather unusual delivery but it was fun unpacking the California at home 😄
Understandable, but we have to remove the covers to check everything is okay underneath.
We saw our van with all her stickers on which was wonderful she was behind the fence had the number plate on so we knew it was the right van. Love looking back at the pictures I got of that.
hi there, that was surprisingly interesting, looking forward to using my own ocean this year, bought April last year from Liverpool and only done 3000, miles, hopefully the weatherwill be a bit kinder for the north of Scotland this year, and thanks for keeping us up to speed with interesting videos.

Very interesting, at least you don’t have to de-wax the bodywork these days. My first job out of school in the Motor trade (nearly 60 years ago!) was preparing new cars. I remember de-waxing vehicles using white spirit and mutton cloth, no disposable gloves back then! As others have said be interested to see a PDI video. Great channel Chris, keep the videos coming! I picked mine up late November 2022 and i had so much missing and even to this day the dealer swears that VW dont supply the wheel nut covers. Having seen this it proves he was a liar.

A PDI video would be good, another one which would be excellent would be “How to emergency lower the roof on an Ocean”
I have read the manual and get the logic of the procedure, we all hope we never have to do it, but a demo would be well received!
