    Hello,
    Thank you for your video!
    Do you use a differential to sew the elastic ? To have a good repartition of the elasticity?

    Do I have to use swimwear elastic? Or can I use regular elastic?

    Love it. Where can I buy the foot serger machine for the elastic. Awesome.

    • @EdgewaterAve
      @EdgewaterAve  3 роки тому +1

      You'll need to buy one compatible with your machine, I looked on Amazon but ended up buying mine from eBay! Both are good places to look.

    its magical !

    • @EdgewaterAve
      @EdgewaterAve  3 роки тому +1

      This is called an "elastic foot" and it can be purchased for nearly any serger! It's such a great tool to have.

    To clarify, is it 1 yard of each fabric we need (the print and the liner) or 1 yard total (so 1/2 yard of each)?
    Thanks for your videos!

    • @EdgewaterAve
      @EdgewaterAve  3 роки тому +3

      1 yard total!

      I like the videos but am confused about how to turn them inside out etc to get to the finished product. Also, why do you use elastic on the entire outfit? Im just trying to understand. Thank you so much

    Is there a way to make the straps reversible as well ?

    • @EdgewaterAve
      @EdgewaterAve  2 роки тому

      In theory you could make your straps with two side seams and cut two different fabrics. But it may get bulky so I'm not confident it would really achieve the look you'd be going for!

    How do you finish the gusset?

    • @EdgewaterAve
      @EdgewaterAve  3 роки тому +1

      The gusset is sewn at the same time as the sides, and in the same way!

    Is the elastic necessary just asking lol I have trouble sewing elastic

    • @EdgewaterAve
      @EdgewaterAve  3 роки тому

      Many of my customers make their pieces without using elastic and they have no issues. That being said, elastic will help the suit last longer and stay in place so if it's available to you, I'd highly recommend using it!
