Harper betrayed Eric badly. Daria or Sara wouldn't have even interviewed Harper from her 'non target' (not a prestigious university) background. Not to mention the fake qualification Eric ignored.
He locked Harper in that room, closed the shades and proceeded to shout at her to solved his mess up. She had a history of panic attacks which he didn't know but that's not his business. Instead of reporting him she told Daria who used her to take over Eric's job. Harper got her revenge after Daria wanted her to return half the 50k commission.

He is not a good manager but he is great at his work. He has the shark dna this companies need the predatory instinct to take any opportunity to make money.
He is not more manipulative than other seniors with aspirations and he embodies the real motives of these banks.
yhh. He is so manipulative. I wish we see more of this part in the series. Everybody keeps saying about how harper doesn't deserve to be there and my question is- then why is she? Eric is no philanthropist, why doesn't he fire Harper? He knows he could give Harper things she never asked (extra raise), make her feel special and use "You would not be here if it weren't for me" line to make her his puppet and to be on his side since Daria and the other lady want him gone. He is using her as much as Harper is using him.
All the managers manipulated or controlled for their own agenda. Daria got a secret confession from Harper to get Eric fired and his job and later barely talked to Harper. Harper confessed to her, she got sexually assaulted by a client and Daria didn't care. Also Daris told Robert he was worthless.
It’s a tragedy that Leung’s only other pieces of work were Sopranos and Rush Hour. What a champ.
I am so going to watch this. Probably lots of backstabbing in this profession.
Eric and Rishi are classic.
Eric is the DAD type i would want as a mentor .... in the business aspects.
You’d probably hate his character as a Dad lol. He don’t give af
I've never watched a single episode of this show. Anyone remember Rush Hour from like the last century? Yeah, it's that guy.
yeah! one of the antagonists in the first rush hour movie
Put the gun down and fight me like a man~
ERIC such a badass, this show rocked tho
I fail to care about anyone other than Eric
I fully understand her choice !
I love Eric on this show
Lol Eric reminds me of some of my former coworkers when he had that exercise band on his chair… one of my former coworkers has one of those pedal thing underneath her desk, another sits on an exercise ball lol… also I can relate. I started from the bottom trying to climb that ladder
that scene sent me because I was like what a great idea
If you ever worked in the Sell Side in research, trading or something useful, you love Eric and hate Daria
I did not, but I can not help but feel the same
After one season, I want to put Eric up there with Tony (from The Sopranos) and Logan (Succession) as my favorite characters in a TV series.
He was in sopranos as a kid with Junior in the old folks home
Might you be having some daddy issues?
@@tealsquare 🤣
Love this show. Even if I have no idea what they're talking about lol
Man... juntao came along way after he quit the triad
Who said he quit?
Eric is simply amazing ❤ he’s so real
INDUSTRY - an anagram of BEST DRAMA (and don't tell me it ain't!) Wonderful multi-national acting talent, production design, writing, photography and music soundscapes. Together with Happy Valley - this is the definitive best of Brit TV in the last 10yrs!
agreed, the diversity is top tier so far.
You know's it's beyond humiliating when Rishi gives that sad face lol
The editing on these are beautiful lol
Ah the finance corporations : hub of psychopaths
Perfect description of the majority of leading/supporting characters.
Its interesting how Eric looks exactly like a certain IRL business man in asia...
😂😂😂
mostly watched for his scenes. ken leung is a beast of an actor.
Gotta get Ken Leung an Emmy nomination. He is absolutely fucking remarkable week in and week out on one of the best shows on television
They clipped Eric so hard in season 2. He was the best part of the show in the first season.
"I know a guy high up at Fox". Funny as this actor was in a major Fox/Marvel Comics movie as "Kid Omega". He also beat up "Uncle Junior" on the Sopranos and was a time traveling Other on Lost. Great actor.
Such brilliant performances in this show!!
I love this show. I know it the moment i see it
This scene is brilliant
this actor is so underrated. I’ve mostly seen him as the bad guy in movies
His name is Sang! He's from Hong Kong!
Loved the scene @ 10:32
As a grad of suny bing, I am so glad we made it on the maplol
0:36 Burst out laughing when I heard that. Lol.
You know you old af when nobody mentions his villian role in Rush Hour
i watched sopranos for the first time (late i know) and almost leapt out of my chair when i saw eric.
some of these under the radar actors are the best in the business, because they don't have the looks to back it up..they need to rely on skill alone.
Good to see that Sang stopped working for Juntao and left all that kidnapping business behind for some honest work 🤣🤣
leon from person of interest?
This guy is from Rush Hour
“How do you do that voice” hahah
We both know who he’s taking about. POI is/ was the best show around.!
