Cooper I think you answered your own question. To me I would take the peacefulness of Krabi any day over Pattaya. Question for me is how far is the nearest hospital. I may have to go there monthly to renew my Prescriptions. So long as Krabi is not expensive to live. To me a beautiful beach ⛱️ and clean Ocean is everything . Not going to say it may get boring. But willing to try.
You can walk to it. It's that close to my condo. There is 1 hospital in Ao Nang and 2 maybe 3 in Krabi. I find the cost might be 5-10 % more on some things. So many things to do and see here that you shouldn't get bored.
Hi Coop, I like the look of the area down there, reminds me a bit of Bang Saray where I'm currently staying. Now admittedly I'm a bit OCD and an ex technical consultant so please take that into account :D. But internet speed is measured in mega bits per second not mega bytes per second, it's a bit like comparing metres to kilometres or Shon with his kettle bell :D
Wow! The condo is so small! 36 sq metres! You can't swing a cat in there! He has difficulty moving between the bed without nearly falling over! How do you clean under the bed? Why do people choose to live like this? So claustrophobic! They make good temporary holiday homes - but they are definitely not a home-to-home feeling! Too far away from the sea - no sea views. The small mountains are nothing spectacular to get excited about. But for a single man looking to escape Pattaya and Jomtien, it is a more quiet and relaxing environment. Good luck.

I've read that people should not swim Aonang Beach due to sewage dumping and that the water in the area is brownish. Did you see anything that indicates this is true?

Coop! You did it again! Ole Steves swatting mosquitos on the front porch of his 60 buck a month shack.. And here Mickie Bakers got a nice gym , pool. and can dive, snorkel, and go to the beach whenever he wants.. Old Submarine Captain of the moping, and table wiping in the mess hall Steve must be steaming for what he could have got... And for only 300 bucks a month! Ole cheap Steve is 20,000 leagues under the sea compared to Bakers condo.... Love the video Coop!
Nice place, very tranquil. Wish we could have experienced the sea? What about you guys accommodations Coop? Did you guys stay overnight of just a day trip and off you went back to Jomtien?
