Mr Suou aka Tamaki dad is Japanese and first met Tamaki mom( is French) in French.After that, they fell in love and had Tamaki before they got marry. Unluckily, Mr.Suou is married that time too, his wife was choose by Tamaki grandma. So that Mr.Suou needed to go back to Japan and Tamaki lived with mom for many years.
Tamaki's ridiculous, yes, but he's also quite possibly the most wonderful, genuine person I've ever heard of. He honestly thinks well of people, and he's got a good heart. Still not attractive though, romantically. Kyouya is sexy. Tamaki is silly. Just can't see it any other way.

The drawings are the same but they look cuter and the Japanese voice acting is surprisingly better than I thought! (I didn't bother watching the JPN version after I found out it had already been dubbed!)
