    Got a C380 and it's been awesome. I really enjoy it for commuting and getting around town. Very comfortable, smooth, and the belt drive is amazingly quiet and smooth.

    Totally excellent and informative review, probably the best you tube e bike review I have seen to date. My only issue is that you are not based in the UK!

    Hi Kelly what a fantastic review. If you were in my home town I would be there tomorrow and get the c380 . It’s hard to find stores that know anything about the products they sell . I don’t know if you’re always in your store but I would hope your employees are as well informed. Thanks for the great job

    I've had the Ultimate 380 on order since November for a hopeful May '22 delivery. This is by far the most informative review/video I've ever watched. I'm in the US, so I am relying on a US bike shop

      What a long wait time! I ordered an Ultimate 380+ about 3 weeks ago and picked up my bike at the shop last week.

    Had a GAZELLE when I was in grade 3 living in Friesland as no buses so biking was a norm over their so safety and quality was very important for parents . Brought the bike back to Canada and was a great bike. Wife now bikes with this type in your video now and loves it.I purchased the Reese and Mueller, only think I would love to have that's missing is the ability to adjust the handle bar as hunching over the bike is uncomfortable.

    • @lienbijs1205
      @lienbijs1205 3 роки тому

      It is not a big deal to change the handle bar if you like. I also do some customizing, it also makes me feel that the bike is only mine.

    Thanks for the great review. Got to get my hands on a C380 for a test ride. You’ve answered a lot of the questions I had now I just need to find one. Seems supply is particularly low or non existent.

    Lovely review.
    I chose the c8 because of the price , the Shimano shifter doesn’t matter that much to me because in Antwerp everything is flat so the enviolo isn’t that desirable for me for the extra money.
    But overal it looks great

    Wonderful video, showing the different bikes very much enjoyed it and learned a few things! What I would love to see on one of your videos is how to change a rear tire on the gazelle with the two different hubs and also with, for example the t 10 (my bike) with the 10 tooth sprocket. Unfortunately, it’s not always possible to be near a bike shop to have a tire repaired when you’re on the trail or on a weekend like Sunday And there’s no bike shops open. I always carry tools and patch kit with me with an extra tube.

    Great video! The comparison between C8 an C380 was what I was looking for. I live in a town without any hills. So the C8 should be sufficient for me.

    The enviolo models are zero maintenance apart from having to replace the brake pads and cables eventually. All the other bikes require additional servicing intervals in relation to their transmission.

    I got the Enviolo hub meaning continuously variable gear ratio.
    I got the Enviolo manual hub.
    But if I'd waited the year I could have gotten
    the Enviolo automatic hub, meaning as I'd approach a stop sign, it would downscale the gear ratio. That and vice versa.

      The Automatiq is cool! We can always upgrade you to the Automatiq if you wish.

    Really great review, learnt a lot of the Gazelle ebikes on this one, more than the EBR reviews... Girlfriend will be looking at the C8 this week but now that I seen the C380, it is a really nice upgrade. I am seriously thinking of getting the Gazelle medeo t10, any advice or recommendation for this model? I am in Ottawa, On so I cannot drop by the shop, thanks

      And did you buy one already? You go to buy a bike without test ride? I am going to pick up the c310 hmb next tuesday, I can't wait. I feel like I when I was a small girl counting the days till my birthday to get a new bike. Only nobody is covering the bike with a sheet and put it in the living room with balloons and guirlandes.😄

      I've had the t10 for a couple of months. Love it.
      Test rode the C380 today and oh, my, goodness. It's butter. The "transmission" is so cool. You can dial in anywhere on the range with instant response. A silent ride,
      Trying to negotiate a trade-in for the 380.

      I have the Gazelle c310 hms. I got it as a gift from my brother. He went to the bikeshop where my nephew is working and he advised the c310 hms for me because it has a chain guard what requires much less maintenance. I can't compare with other Gazelle ebikes but I am literally in love with this bike because it is riding very smooth.I can't compare with other Gazelle ebikes but I feel like I am riding the best ebike there is. I live in the Netherlands and I use the bike for commuting, groceries and daily transportation to basicly everything within 25 km but also in the weekends for tours from around 60 km. I live close to the german border and there are no real mountains here but I go up on hills very easily with this bike but I guess that real mountains requires more power. I live 20 km from the Gazelle factory, the outside is looking like a very old and ugly factory like they show always factories in movies but I know somebody who is working there, she told me how fanatic they care about quality. Gazelle is a royal brand. To become a royal brand you must build up a good reputation and produce high quality products for at least 100 years.

    I like your very informative videos, and really appreciate this detailed comparison. The C380 has most of what I want: a step through bike with enviolo hub and belt drive, plus enough torque to handle the big hills where I live. I'm glad you mentioned the tire width. How feasible is it to swap for a wider tire, and what would be the cost? And, can you go tubeless? Lastly, is there a similar bike that allow you to put your feet on the ground without sliding off the seat when you stop, in order to improve stability and balance? (Lots of questions - I hope you can help. )

    • @CitrusCycles
      @CitrusCycles  4 роки тому

      I'm glad to hear that the video was helpful for you. The C380 is certainly a great option to consider. You could probably go with a 2" tire and still fit within the fenders. If you would be purchasing the bike from us, you can contact us for the detailed pricing as it would depend on the tire. We generally don't go tubeless on this style of bike, but instead install tire sealant which has the same benefits in regards to puncture resistance. A similar bike with the Gates Belt and Enviolo hub would be the R&M Nevo3. We have a video of the 2020 model on our website and hope to have the Nevo3 video uploaded soon.

      Yes, any Ortlieb handlebar bag should work since the Ultimate series uses the Bosch Purion display.

    • @CitrusCycles

      eMTB mode is only available on the Bosch Performance Line CX motor, and the Ultimate T10 and C380 use the Performance Line, not the CX.
