We picked the same load last spring and took it to Arizona. Brokers don’t tell you anything about the loads. Big wind sail - at least that is what we called it. BE safe Alex. Happy New Year.
You mentioned Springfield, Mo; On MY first OTR run with Armellini Express Lines out of Palm City, Florida hauling fresh-cut flowers to florist wholesalers our last drop was IN Springfield. We also picked up in there too. 22 pallets of Kraft Velveeta cheese!! We waited on their dock for 26 hours for them to manufacture that stuff and load us!!
With lack of freigh.. brokers throw number to see what sticks and they dont even ask what the hell the frieght is most have zero experince in trucking. I think fmcs should require ex amount of skills and testing before you become a broker a trucker needs testing a skills testing why not brokers. My simple fix when i was driving dont drive out of a 500 mile radius and go knock on doors to go direct with shipper. Now thats a peace of mind. Be safe mr. Alex
@ Thanks Man. When I was younger the miles didn’t get to me like they do today. You guys have my respect for the time, and miles you cover to make a living!
There again the darn brokers don't care about anything but their own $$. Would the ramp have been TOO wide to have transported flat on your trailer deck?
@@richardbarkley9909 Yeah the brokers try to be sneaky. The ramp would have been 1.5 feet wider so it would require oversize permits but I don’t think they would even load it flat.
About the loves on the toll road, those are new additions to the loves corporation. They bought out older buildings and business and have remodeled them. Hopefully give them time to keep updating and improving them to include the showers. There is also a brand new loves location in Wichita Kansas where I am from. Off I135 and 21st street. Only a couple months old. Information for your next travel through. And hit me up for good pizza and beer!

That’s another great video Alex and it’s nice to see that you use extra tie downs I noticed that other people don’t do that
@@joshpiercey7187 Thank you! I do like extra securement on loads that feel awkward to me.

Lack of freight? What are you talking about?😂😂😂😂
Glad you got a load back home, finally! And that's about the weirdest thing I've ever heard about Loves not having showers on toll roads.
@@Boognish64 Yes. I’ve never seen a Loves that didn’t have showers.
Have a Happy New Year
Great videos you make, how much did the last little box load pay? I guess I didn’t hear if you mentioned it.
@@roberthoyle7160 Thank you! Happy New Year to you as well. The last load was $1300 and I believe I forgot to mention that.

You look very tired and stressed. Next time you should take a break for almost the entire month of December.
I’d be more than happy to take the full month off if you pay my bills 😁👍🏻
