@@a.a.6464Definitely not bored and not regretting my choice for a second. :) There is plenty of room for progression, most notably in my case on burst healing and especially self-healing under vast pressure (2+ dps on me). I don’t think it’s hard to get going but it feels like it will take months to feel good about my gameplay. The one thing I would say is annoying is that the default Blizz UI does do the best job of telling me what I want to know. Like, what spells are empowered by Thunder Focus Tea? When is my Enveloping Mists instant? And the most annoying: why does my UI light up with my next Vivify is free instead of instant cast: who cares about that info? Anyway, I will have to get some weakauras or whip something up myself at some point. But that’s literally my only complaint. :)
@@a.a.6464Oh and FW / MW: I love both, they both play great depending on the situation. It feels like learning 2 different specs at the same time, with tons of customization options in both, and even hybrid builds. It’s awesome.
With lighter than air, if you roll off the edge at LM in Arathi Basin and double jump before you land, zero fall damage and you get to BS pretty quick.
I've never been a fan of fistweaving which is why I left my monk in the dust several xpacs ago. Gonna try and main it as a ranged mistweaver once again this time.

(Previously was S-Priest, Demo-lock, DH main) What talents do you take and why compared to others (explain like I'm an idiot) as well as which buttons we actually press during fights (and why) as I already feel there is too many buttons, and even tho I have read everything (and multiple guides) I'm quickly lost in what exactly I should press when (mainly on the healing side) I have seen and read many guides, but a big chunk of them are outdated, and assume "you" already have monk knowledge, or healer knowledge (first time healer as well) 😅😅
Of course! I plan to have guides for Arena (FW/Healing/SS) and RBG/BG Blitz before Season 1 comes out. Still doing a lot of testing with talents/Hero talents, but there will definitely be full guides out there ASAP

yeah, I was on the fence about it because it's either Vigorous Expulsion or Quick Footed/Hasty Provocation. I just feel like the self healing from Expel Harm is better than reduced duration on snares, but I could be wrong
So, for PvE M+ why Soothing Mist over instant and buffed Vivify? I can't think of a time where I'd ever want to do an 8 second channel in a dungeon as a FW. I think with the zen pulse changes instant vivify every 10 seconds would be nice too
Any of the caster builds you already have be ok for causal dungeons? I know its harder to do dmg if your not in melee but sometimes I just wanna sit back and spam heals in lower pug keys where im just spamming heals anyways.
Do you think now the secondary stats for fistweaver PvP are mastery/haste, after versa. Cause seems that now its really easier to proc mastery as fistweaver

Your goal is to have as many Renewing Mist out as possible from Pool of Mists and extending them with Rising Mist. You get A LOT of vivify healing from Zen Pulse. Renewing Mist decreases the CD of Rising Sun Kick and Rising Sun Kick reduces the CD of Renewing Mist. Hope this helps!
You cant play as fw at the moment. Through amor changes its impossible. Rsk critting for 30k while survival hunter running around with 4 bombs and explosive Shots hitting for 350k+ I knew prepatch... But this sucks...
I used also mastery haste. But even mastery procs with 150% could Not keep Up. I had to Smile a little as i switched to evoker and h2f my Mate with 1 Mio living flame heal.... A 120k acient teaching heal insnt comparable

There is! I just didn’t realize so many people would be interested in one because people mostly Fistweaver in mythic+. I will add one!

For fw PvP do we stack mastery now instead of haste ?
I've been testing it and I think you can use either. I definitely think around 20% haste and then the rest is vers/mastery is the sweet spot

I think so! A LOT of AoE healing and damage, probably super strong on maps like EoTs/Silvershard Mines because of how close everyone is

I tried a Mastery / haste build and it felt pretty good, I believe they increased the damage to healing modifier consequently
