Semi Truck, Passenger Vehicle Collide in Lancaster Leaving 1 Driver Severely Injured

LANCASTER, Calif., July 10 (KNN) - A serious traffic collision involving a semi truck and passenger vehicle left both drivers injured - one severely - late Tuesday night.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the scene of a traffic collision that occurred around 10:23 p.m. on 20th Street East and Avenue E in the city of Lancaster. California Highway Patrol officers also responded to the incident.
The female occupant of the vehicle sustained severe injuries and was transported to a medical facility for treatment. The driver of the semi truck reported shoulder pain and was also receiving medical attention.
