I find making the balls & allowing them to relax for a bit prior to rolling makes for less stress for me . Also a 3 inch cookie cutter or any round shape placed in in center makes cutting much easier for me
I really want to make this, but a savory star bread. I have the yeast ordered, but I will be lucky if it arrives before Christmas though. I really hope so, and I need to find something to use to make the dough in and a space in the fridge that it will fit! But I love all these recipes and how easy they look. I hope it will work in my hot kitchen.
It's best if you bake it. Let it cool and then freeze. Thaw in the fridge or a cool room. After it's thawed put it in the oven and heat it thoroughly at 100°C for about 30 minutes. It will taste like freshly baked.
Very nice 👍

Can This dough recipe be divided right in half for one loaf without any adjustments?
Hi Carol - you can divide the recipe in half, no adjustments in making the dough.
Can this dough be frozen.? And if so what is the procedure to defrost and to bake. Thank you

How do you make the almond filling?
What could you substitute for the almond paste?
Cinnamon & sugar , Nutella, jam all work
No flour to marry the dough 😂.. it won’t stick well!
