Not to be overdramatic :) but Slipknot is saving my sanity these days. Hope you've been enjoying this song! 2 Slipknot videos in a row? Yes, please. Have a good one, Maggots.
I can relate Lauren. The Iowa album was like that for me. Have a good one too fellow maggot. BTW, I'm rocking your "maggot" shirt today! Great design and idea.
The outro sounds are Pinhead. Clown’s new mask was pretty cool, and I LOVE Jay’s and Corey’s. Clown said this is the best he’s ever heard Corey. Haven’t figured out the ending voice, but I bet it’s the intro to the next song when the album is released. Haven’t heard the date yet… Overall I love this song!
11:23 i felt that ‘nOOOthing…….’ too.. :D Some similarities with Eyeless, the intro and the breakdown part in the end…..The guys should have done this track some years ago instead of Devil in I or even Unsainted, although I pass the ‘clean’ part/chorus/whatever people call it. People may find this very Stone Sour-ish, I don’t think so…..But yeah I’m hoping the full album to have this type of mood..
It took me a few listens to fully "get", but now I love this song. I hear a little bit of every album in this, when Clown said this is the antithesis of Slipknot as a band and their sound fully explored, he was not messing around. Soooooo unbelievably hyped for the new record. I could be totally wrong but I'm fairly certain the chorus is in diminished, but as soon as I realized that I fell in love with it. Totally uncommon. The Sid language made it into a song finally!!!
I love that you LOVE Pinhead lol This song is next level. I can't wait for the album which I think they announced it'll come out between January and March.
I read a lot of comments where people were trashing this song and I would like to slap those people. I love how he used todays culture and issues and used the Yorkshire Ripper as metaphor. Beautiful!!!! Hey I don't know if you're looking for new bands to check out but if you are then I suggest Ice Nine Kills. Great band. Especially there last 3 albums. I think you'll love it. 🤘Rock on Maggots 🤘
This is a banging choon and well worth the wait. Heard it Friday when it came out. Played it a dozen times and changed my underpants twice..... it's THAT good. Tinkle time a go go.lol
Man... Corey sounds like Burton C. Bell from Fear Factory at the "We Can't Decide" part. Holy crap. I didn't notice that the first time. Any FF fans in da house?
Interview is out there about this song, Cory was searching Jack the ripper when other serial killers popped up on his computer including the killer mention above,it was the next day when he went online and the algorithm lead him to murders, killers and violence, hence the media mention
Corey says it was inspired by the real-life story of the UK town Chapeltown, a suburb of Leeds, which was terrorized by serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, known the Yorkshire Ripper, in the 1970s. Having watched a documentary on the Yorkshire Ripper on Netflix, Taylor found the streaming service’s algorithm recommending more serial killer documentaries. “At that moment, everything was just kind of steering towards violence, or a history of violence,” explained Taylor. “And it was just such a weird echo of social media. And the fact that social media tries to steer you towards violence or steer you towards the most toxic thing - the most toxic moment. So I looked at it from that standpoint.” He further said of the song, “It’s classic Slipknot. And it’s frenetic. But lyrically, it’s coming from a point of talking about the various manipulations that can happen when social media meets media itself. And the different ways that these manipulations can try to pull us in different directions, in the fact that we’re all becoming addicts to it, which is very, very dangerous.”
Great reaction ! This song is pretty close to the sound of Iowa with the lyrics of WANYK I think the album's title will be "Everything is God online" it's in the song and the band said this several times
This song is insane and It was GREAT seeing them perform it live man oh and btw V man said he wrote this song :D but i don’t think he wrote the lyrics tho
This is Monsters is an incredible channel! If you haven't, I'd highly recommend checking out JCS or Matt Orchard, Probably my two favorite channels. With you following closely behind, of course!
@@MusicCatsandCoffee Matt Orchard is essentially a kiwi version of jcs. They've actually collaborated on a project or 2 before. Seeing you react to some of Matt Orchards videos would a neat little project that I'd selfishly love having you do.
@@theCrownofSympathy Yeah, with the blastbeats this song has a similar vibe to the track 'All Hope Is Gone', and I think they should have followed suit with that song and had harsh vocal choruses too.
I always laugh when Lauren talks about Craig, she loves him so much, never seen nobody care about him that much. 😂
Pinhead deserves more recognition
Damn straight.
Not to be overdramatic :) but Slipknot is saving my sanity these days. Hope you've been enjoying this song! 2 Slipknot videos in a row? Yes, please. Have a good one, Maggots.

Slipknot saved my sanity in high school! I know you mentioned you wish you would have discovered them a bit sooner for this very reason ;)
I can relate Lauren. The Iowa album was like that for me. Have a good one too fellow maggot. BTW, I'm rocking your "maggot" shirt today! Great design and idea.

I am truly excited, I discover Slipknot two years ago and finally I can experiment the feeling of wait for a new content!
Yes, like we're all in this one together this time around. Love it.
That voice at the end is Sid doing his signature alien voice
The outro sounds are Pinhead.
Clown’s new mask was pretty cool, and I LOVE Jay’s and Corey’s.

This is a really really good song. Especially the chorus is intelligent and at the same time very catchy.
LAUREN BOPPED HER HEAD THIS TIME GUYS!!!!!! idk if its just me but i never see her headbang or groove with the music mostly (not a bad thing)
Guilty.

I love the song, like you said it combines everything Slipknot does really well and everyone gets a chance to shine.
If it’s Slipknot then I’m ❤️❤️❤️it
Am i the only one who thinks that's Sid at the ending speaking alien language
Your not the only one and I believe your correct
new album is gonna be Sic, you see where I went there? ;)
I love Pinhead too haha. He is just so special
As soon as I heard this I was like “Lauren’s gonna like the talking Corey at the beginning” 😂 great reaction as always :)
You guys know me so well. Love it! :)
Corey voice sounds like a mix of gray chapter wanyk and a small bit of ahig
I agree the "I missed your Honesty!" Part is definitely a Gray chapter feel, and the deep growls is ahig
AHIG is very underrated!
Great reaction to an Awesome song. 😀😃😄😁
im loving this song so much, it gets better everytime I hear it. Happy Taylor Tuesday everyone
I saw them debut this song in LA KNOTFEST
Your reactions are awasome 😅 very funny
it is crazy she only has 5k subs but i guess that means a organic group of followers
the song i think is about media
Yes but also about the serial killer peter sutcliffe

@@t1ag217 Although there's nothing in the song that remotely relates to the Yorkshire Ripper.

Pinhead is the serial killer
You also never miss with your third "I," intelligence.
(Someone'll get it.)
Im calling it rn, the new album is gonna be called "Everything Is God Online"
I watched this as soon as I finished a monsters video lol
Awesome!
I would like you to react to suicide note part 2 of pantera

@@MusicCatsandCoffee you're welcome mate :)

scarlxrd - the walking dead
They debut it live , live is better
You know Slipknot and Deftones are the only Nu metal bands that survived all the other Nu metal bands didn’t really make it.
Korn, limp bizkit and mudvayne?
chorus sounds like stone sour
Yep.
Ruins the song for me personally.

@@FlyboyHelosim Agreed. AHIG is one of my favorite songs. This one, not so much.
@@theCrownofSympathy Mine too. The clean chorus just felt so out of place on this one. It could have been a true heavy.
