This is a channel for people who suffer from DPDR and anxiety (depersonalization and derelization - DPDR). If you have depersonalization or derealization there is a way to get out of it and get your life back. DPDR is a symptom of anxiety that makes you feel like you're looking at yourself from the outside (depersonalization) or you experience life 'like looking through a fishbowl' (derealization). More symptoms include emotional numbness, panic attacks, racing heart, intrusive thoughts, feelings of dread, visual snow, catastrophising and so many more.
It can be extremely scary and exhausting and often it feels like there is no way out which causes a lot of anxiety. However, there is a way out and it's absolutely possible to live a normal and connected life, permanently.

I always struggle with this, and unfortunately it’s subconscious, like I’ll scroll on my phone whenever I feel anxious and then I’ll be hyper focused on the DPDR, but I’ve noticed that it only makes my brain want to focus on it more since it thinks it’s something important that I’m “putting off”

Exactly, you're experiencing it yourself. There's a reason you scroll on your phone and clearly it's not helping you. Once to get to the root of that reason, along with everything else you're doing that isn' helpful, then you can address them and ultimately get better.
