- I took delivery of this 1999 motorhome at the weekend and in this video I give you a guided tour of the internal space and all the various features.

With the curtains at the front ham 5hem so they go to the floor as it will help with heat in the habitation bit

Congrats on your motorhome, I was nervous to drive my first motorhome about 3 months ago buts it's alot easier than it looks your so high you can see everything I also got a rear view camera that makes it even easier. You'll love driving it.

Hello HELP can you please tell me how do you charge the leisure battery? x
Just watched your vid. I expect by now you've found how to charge the leisure battery!
Those curtains - I have the same van but a slightly different lay out - mine has a curtain rail that runs up inside the windscreen from behind the seats. I can close off the front and have the curtains in front of the seats. It gives more space and is less claustrophobic.
Have you managed to learn anything about maintaining the fridge [ignition], the water heater [ I saw it hidden away under the couch ] and the heater? They aren't difficult to service once shown.
Also, it's vital to drain off the water heater before driving. The weight of a full tank in the heater will loosen the seal. The thing will leak and a repair can be very expensive. You can drain it and there's a dodge to prevent it refilling but still have water to the sinks.
Also, if you do spend a lot of time away in it then a dual gas tank system [ like gas flow] using LPG is easy to install and extremely cheap to run.
I'd suggest you get a solar panel as well. It's a bit technical doing the research but there is ONE system only to have that is far superior to the others. It will enable your leisure battery to always be charged and you can live off grid.
Finally, have the cam belt changed if it's not been done. That and the diesel filter.
