My latest batch of hybrids. I wanted to make the regular Race Modded cars as if they actually were LM Editions.
Keep in mind I did'nt go for lap times! I'm driving purely to mess around.
EVERY car is a hybrid in SOME way:
Suspension, Turbo, Gearbox, Downforce, N/A mod, Wheel size (NSX S-Zero and R33 '97 only)... etc.
There are 2 kind of racecars in this save, the "small" 400-500hp, and the "big" 550-650hp.
It's a really long video, I hope you don't get bored and that you enjoy it!
This is the PAL version of Gran Turismo.

I always get a kick out of the Subaru Legacy Station wagon with race stickers all over it. I feel like its what you drive when the kids are late to soccer practice.
That Mazda 323/Lantis 4 door Coupe was so ahead of its time...if I didn't play Gran Turismo, I would've thought Mercedes had invented the 4 door coupe segement with the CLS in 2005

Also, I needed something to make those different from their older clones. It makes the torque curve more usable ^^
Oh this takes me back.. I was very active during this time period with cracking codes, if you have used Jade Cocoon action replay codes then those were cracked by me :) I loved sticking all sorts of parts in different cars, the pikes peak rally edition was ridiculous with the right parts.. when you revved it you would get a pinging sound and as it rocketed forward it would rear up on its back wheels haha

Changing the gear ratios in the 92'GTO made a huge difference, no longer did it just sit at 6th gear doing nothing got it to about 390km/h on the set track.
But it did seem odd why 6th gear didn't seem to do anything and the car just sat there not really accelerating even with all of the upgrades applied
I found out a while later through... i don't know if you call it tryharding or just laziness... that this lag is due to the flywheel upgrades. All Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo have that issue. Putting back the stock flywheel fixes it. Strange ^^

I used thz fact that many hier end cars had multiple variants to change up the tunes. Some use na parts, some turbos, some more or less high performance. I always had this 'tier' mindset wgere you have the tier 1 LM at around 600-650hp a'd the tier 2 at 450-550. That's what i went with here.
The tuned up Subaru Legacy Station Wagon looks sick.

Pour faire des hybrides j'ai recours a des codes gameshark / action replay que j'ai trouvé et rassemblé depuis 2008. Etant donné que je joue sur émulateur, c'est tres rapide a partir de la. Apres, c'est juste un perfectionnement, des tests de combinaison de codes et voila \o/

Dude i never knew when I was a kid that you can modify normal cars to be race cars. I was like "i wanted to use this viper on the big leagues coz i already perfected it and tuned it to fit my style but how do i put those damned stickers on?".
I just found out when I grew up and downloaded it and played via emulator lol
How do you set up the Demio to be this fast and turn well?
I only added more power through hybridding, and a good gearbox with more than just the 5 gears the car has normally heh
hello this is a crank game? it´s soo different to original european PAL-M Ps1 game, in my CD game don´t have subaru legacy 7 gear, eunos roadster TOO FAST hahahaha and another configurations cars, it soo much diferente, what happening that it?
La GTO Twin Turbo, c'était la meilleure boostée à fond
***** Ele etait clairement parmi les plus rapides c'est sur. Par contre, son lag de turbo est tres handicapant, et elle est lourde. Sur le plan technique, la Supra et les Skylines sont meilleures. Mais les skylines ont une boite 5, et la Supra est une drifteuse ^^'. Chacun ses forces et faiblesses :)

Actually, Mazda Roadster Special hybrid has a TVR/AM engine.
Engines can't be swapped in GT1, this is still the original engine, but with an exhaust sound from an other car

No, the game doesn't support more than 7. GT4 had 2 cars with 8 gears, but they didn't prepare for it, so the 8th gear you can't modify.
I like all ur hybrid but I saw something about ur hybrid gtr 33 is 1101hp my gtr hp is 1500 but nice work still 👍👍
Yeah a the time I didn't go for the maximum power, but for the most OP handling possible. Thanks ^^ Also it's 1101KG, not HP :p 543hp though.
@@submaniac93 OK I c well I just done some more tuning to the Gtr 33 @ 98Gtr 32 and top speed was 320 R33 n 319 R32 @ Gto 92 317 @ Gto twin tubo 318 mph for now so an going for the NSX to c its true power 😊

Doreiku Masayoshi It would be pretty awesome, but because we can't decompile and recompile the game, we probably never will be able to modify it in any way. So far, we can only get textures from the game when looking into the VRam of the console using PsxVram. But it's a 1-way thing.

If you're saying this about the speed glitch, it's not because of the tires but because of the flywheel in fact. I've made a video more recently where I show this. :)

Need the 10,000rpm engine in some cars.
The Handling was my goal :D Of course it's far from being perfect, but to be honest I don't want to make cars that handle too good. I find it more fun to try and tame cars that bounce a bit on the curbs. And I'm not that good at setting the suspension. I know the basics but that's it.
I wish I could give my cars high revving engines, like those of the LMs, but as of yet I only know how to put naturally aspirated mods that add 500-1000 RPM to them, then add a stage 1 turbo for low RPM torque and reduced lag. It gets them closer, and gives most cars a much better power/torque curve than simple Turbo or Atmo tume. I wish there was an engine swap code somewhere... I could really use it. But I make do, and I have a code that allows me to choose any muffler sound in the game (from those i've found by myself of course, I'm missing a lot of sounds). Pretty nifty. :3

Hello, I was wondering - do you have a code that makes your car's engine sound like the CPU? I've been looking everywhere for it, but still no luck :(
Paul Coleman 8009BA36 01E4 although that works only if you're playing on the PAL version sorry :/
It's a muffler upgrade technically, so it'll add a little power as well.
submaniac93 Thanks man. It seems like a good code, but for some reason it keeps crashing the emulator... do you have any other codes, preferably one that is solely for making the cpu/ai engine sound?
+Paul Coleman If you're playing on emulator, you must activate any codes you want to use after loading gran turismo mode. The game crashes while loading it otherwise.
