ABOUT ETS 2: SPECIAL TRANSPORT
Only the most skilled and experienced truck drivers are called to perform Special Transport jobs. The new DLC will challenge the players and let them experience super-sized cargoes with length and width exceeding standard cargo regulations. Driving through tight passages requires millimeter-precision maneuvering!
The routes will be secured by two escort vehicles guiding the driver through the transport job from its start to the place of delivery. The player has to obey the escort vehicles' advice and carefully watch for every inch of the road to deliver the cargo in pristine condition.

11 huge cargoes (up to 70 tons, 6 m width, 5+ m height and 20+ m length)

Unique job routes for the Special Transport (most in the base map, some through DLC expansions, more to come)

Quick tip, Daggerwin:
I've found that you can go against the traffic when exiting yards like that, the front escort vehicle stops traffic going the other way for you to do so...
You were supposed to drive down the wrong side of the road for that very first bit. The escort had stopped traffic further up to allow to do that safely.

When you start a special transport in Brussels you can drive on the wrong site of the road for the first meters, until you can go back to the right side.
So Daggerwin, you didn't have to reverse to get to the right side of the road

There is a bridge in philidelphia that is just low enough where if you go uner it with a box truck, it will rip the top of the cargo area on your truck off and leave the rest fine. It is amazing.

I am from Australia and you see these escorts on the news with Police in the escorts so they can drive up and block the upcoming route for the truck even on the highway they do it so the trucks can straddle both lanes other wise they rip every sign out of the ground.

It's all about the right gearbox. You can pull this trailer with a 1bhp engine, if you have the right gearbox for it. But then you wouldn't have a very high top speed.
The 730bhp engine allows for a gearbox that is geared for higher top speed, so you can pull these trailers, whilst not lose out on top speed. Doing jobs in half or third of the time, than with your current rig. But it doesn't mean, you can't do jobs like this, if you have the right gearbox, as this video clearly shows.

Dagger win fs 17 videos have been very inconsistent recently, when can there be a timetable
You can skip cutscenes with ESC key, or there is a setting for that, you can turn em off :)
The escort went down the otherside as the game knew it was impossible to make the turn so you were supposed to move down the wrong side of the road

In UK it's illegal to straddle both the outside lane and the hard shoulder, as it's a solid white line and plus the Hard Shoulder isn't part of the carriage way so driving on it is illegal!
but a truck driver bringing a overwide or huge load can go over the line to let the traffic pass

The cut scene when you get the trailer, if you click Esc it skips it
If you wanted to skip the part where the crew were loading the tank then click escape I have American truck simulator and it works
in the steam workshop there's a graphics mod maye use it it doesnt require much from your pc and it makes it look really good
I did my first special transport cargo with my 520(?) Hp Volvo in Norway... Got stuck half way on a very steep hill. What a surprise, right? It cost 15k to skip the job! Outrageous!
In real life you would wear out the diff and the engine would having a hard time to pull a 70ts load
fairly sure you can skip the cut scenes by pressing ESC.
