Actually, he is not. The interview happened on November 24, 2005, and the destruction of Megalith and the end of the war happened on September 25. And you might think that he was fighting in operation Katina, but that didn't happen until 2006, so I have no idea if it is a continuity error or if he was fighting some Erusian insurgents after the war, but I would like to believe the latter.
Rainer Altman has the most grounded acting in all of the interview. And Espada 2s facial expression is spot on after her battle with Pixy and Cipher and her recounting it bringing so many memories.

One most depressing is that one Belkan pilot become a humanitarian volunteer, only for him to be killed by Guerrillia soldiers... Or the other Belkan pilot that since his family (house) went to economical ruin, he become a wandering vangrant... It really hits home, since not all ex-military soldiers/veterans will get a better life.
Well surely Detler is. However, remember that all Belkan ex-military veterans, aces... Even aces from the Allied and Osean forces are being *watched* hence why the interviewer manage to find and know them. Grey men won't dare recruiting a vet of the Belkan War because they're watched after that coup. Edit: Also if you heard what Dietrich Kellerman said. "Hatred cannot be the only motivation for war. It only brings about more pointless deaths." which pretty much summerize how the Grey Men incite the future conflicts by hosing the other nations against each other with the motivation alone is hate and vengence.
The Ace Zubov was sent to kill? Pops from AC5! Only in Mercenary route you'll notice Heartbreak One in Operation Battle Axe (they're probably there in other routes too but Galm got sent to different sections or something..)
@@SMAXZO Pops and Heartbreak One just survived before AC5 in Pacific War after they have been shot down in B7R during the Belkan War. That's why Schwarze team was suppose take down Pops aka Hucklebein, but it was Cipher took him down instead.
@@V4RocketCloudIf you don't shoot down Pops, then Grabacr shoots down both Bartlett and Pops. Zubov, will say "What's going on? I lost Huckebein." Also, Cipher can shoot down Grabacr as well. Ofnir is there too, but he only appears in the Soldier style.
It depends on your Ace Style Gauge. Mercenary are likely to destroy all targets. Soldier is balance to keep minimum of destroying Yellow targets, and Knight means you don't destroy the yellow targets. These are the route to fight enemy squadron in Area B7R. They are cannon to have different dialogue and aces to appear on your map as expected.
The voices we hear during the interviews so obviously DON'T belong to the people in front of the camera, which is weird, because, reading their lips, they're clearly reading the same lines we're hearing. So here's the million dollar question; why were they dubbed over?
The Only Pilots Who Were Not Interviewed By Brett Thompson Are: Cipher (Galm 1) Jack Bartlett (Heartbreak One) Wolfgang Buchner (Also Known As Huckebein The Raven Peter N Beagle, Pops) Michael Heimeroth (Ofnir 1) Ashley Bernitz (Grabacr 1)
Remember that all of the aces we see in the interview are the best of the best in the war. The Belkans pretty much outnumber all nations in game series in that number... And in contrast where in some AC games, it's an ace in a squadron. Here Cipher fought *squadron of aces* and he beat them. Defeating the most skilled pilots aside from their monsterous weapons is no feat... And yet that memory of encountering him is like a fresh breeze of nostalgia.
All these interviews show how they respect Cipher greatly, despite being beaten in battle.
Just like IRL.
Fun fact: The scene where Pixy is being interviewed is in Delarus which is in Usea and it takes place in Ace Combat 4.
More likely during operacion Katina.

It depends on region for voice overs during the interview, and I have no ideals about who are the cast in live interview 🤔
Back then, TVs aren't as advanced as now so the resolution most likely hides the imperfections and makes the voiceovers look atleast somewhat normal.
