    My 2001 Nissan Altima has a bad water pump leak. When the coolant loop is closed and pressurized it is leaking about as fast as yours does in the video. Next time I get paid I'm going to give this k-seal a try. I really hope it works because this is a new water pump. My old one went bad and wasn't pumping so the engine would overheat. I put a new water pump on but unfortunately it is still leaking. I figure if K-seal doesn't work I'll just put a shit ton of high temp silicone sealant around the seal of the water pump. Probably an imperfection or something that the gasket isn't able to compensate for or something. Due to the overheating I've also begun to burn oil, so I will be getting a head gasket sealer as well and hope that works. It isn't burning a lot so the head gasket should work almost certainly, It's the water pump I'm worried about because it churns through coolant and I just don't have the money to keep buying more coolant and it's too cold to use water.

    If your inside heat is not warm. Open hood. On the fire wall remove both heater core hoses and reverse them. Works for me most every time but some older cars get pluged up and need a powder chemical flush. Empty the entire coolant i would first and run just water for a few days and do it again to get as much crud out first. Caution, cool engine is best. Cold water straight into a hot engine can crack heads.
    If a leak acures use Alumaseal.
    Note: i did see one car that had 2 different size hoses but I managed to reverse them.

      I think It's better if you wait until you have a Small Leak. If it's in there for a while it might not be as Effective as putting it in Fresh bcuz of the Chemical Reactions. Specially if you have to do an Antifreeze Regular Service Change Soon then you just wasted your money.

    hey you can fix that..
    I got to give a testimony right here.. I watched your video and then ran to O'Reilly's to get this product.the water pump on my 2005 Grand caravan was leaking like a SIVe so bad in fact it was leaking standing still not running it was scary.. I thought at first it was my water pump inlet tube so I replaced that. but I soon realized I had to go get this and give it a shot. my pump was leaking so bad I didn't even think the product was going to get to it and do its thing that's how bad my leak was...I used common Sense on how I should put it in regarding my leak situation at the time. I entered in small amounts at a time and chased it with water and antifreeze little by little after about five minutes of this that damn leak sealed up I can't believe it. it will get me through until I replace the pump.

      @DavidC823 4 роки тому +1

      If you reverse the hoses it puts pressure in the opposite direction and can possibly clear the clog. If there is air pockets it hardens the product when it hits the air, try to get air pockets out before using the product or any product as they all function the same way.
