Man!! This gave me chills! I've wanted a TA since I was 16! Seeing the Rig an the Trans Am.. Brahhh got me feelin some type of way!✌️ Eastbound an Down
I grew up in the 70's and this is My Favorite Movie of All Time! Because of Smokey and the Bandit, Movin On, and BJ & the Bear, they are the reason I became a Truck Driver! And I own a 1978 Trans Am. Love it!
My mama carried me to see Smokey and the Bandit when the movie came out, I knew then that I wanted to drive a truck for a living, 35 years been behind the wheel and still driving because of it.
Going to age myself here by saying it was the show Movin On, CW McCall, Red Sovine and Dave Dudly that put the diesel in my blood but SATB definitely completed that transfusion that led to a 40 year career on the road and only ended when my ol ticker decided that if I kept working it was going to quit if I didn't. Finally decided after about a year of retirement maybe it was time to start building all those model kits in the build someday closet and the first one I did was that old KW I first built as the Movin On semi back in 74 75 as the MO semi but decided instead to do it as Snowman. I also had the 77 Bandit TA from 84 to 88 and to this day remains my should have never traded it in car and is still my win the lottery car.
Thanks for putting this up. I was a teenager when Smokey & The Bandit came out and I was already a Pontiac fan. 1st 100+ ride was in my babysitter's boyfriend's '73 Firebird 400. C'mon, man. It was the '70s! 🚬😂🍸
The next step for the Knight Rider Historians UA-cam channel,is to track down the 1973 double bunk Peterbilt 352 Pacemaker Cabover that was known as "Goliath" and restore it back to it's former glory when the truck was used in seasons 3 & 4.
Great video - so interesting. I'm old too. LOL. And boy do I remember the days of the Trans Am... I was in my early 30's and in my hay days!! Great memories. What a gorgeous car!! Love the truck and trailer too.
The perfect truck to drive then the perfect truck to drive home the bandit collection I love the black and gold coulor RESPECT giving money to the VETS lik

Please let me know, I remember The Bandit, Riding Up on the Auction Stage in the Passenger Seat of a Fire Bird, He was a Decked out as the Bandit, Nice Stetson and All. Car was the One That Traveled America to promote the Movie(s).Some lady During the Broadcast Asked ??? If He ever.Took his Hat Off. Mr Reynolds Smiled and told her, he only took if Off For 1 Thing. And Left it at that. Class Man Class. Sure Would like to Watch That one Again.
What an awesome deal. The vehicles are absolutely perfect, and their mission is so generous. *Glad they left that silly Rebel Flag off the front plate of the Trans Am😜👌🏽
