- That Reload while moving with a machine gun alone is a win-win... However the low armor pen is a trade off. But I don't mind the Armor pen because this comes in the variety of loadouts to try...Which is the true meaning of Fun in the game... 💯
It's a fun weapon, but I can't get over the fact that they didn't make it a primary like in the first game

One of a charger's front legs will become Unarmoured for a breif moment after they do their slide stop animation(not colliding after a charge),You can melt them with 1,150 rpm once they turn to face you. 4:20
Ahh...That's called Window Vulnerability.. It is the most used strategy since launch of the game, but I decided not to show it here because a lot of players are having a hard time doing it.

It's been less and less consistent with each patch, I'd stop relying on it.
The lack of Medium Armor pen holds it back for me. If you fall on a Devastator/Bile Spewer heavy map, good luck with Light Armor pen

I used to love pairing this weapon with the eruptor, but then the nerf happened. Now that the eruptor is decent and the crossbow got buffed, i really like using it with those pairings; didn't think about taking the legs out with the commanders, cool strat!

7:19 ive noticed that stuns dont work on Hulks when they are locked in that melee animation. Ive had to shoot a leg with the Hmg to get them to stop then proceed to headshot.
Yes, I didn't know either... I just try to stun it you know... Just to be sure
The real hero here is that stun grenade, let's just hope that thing never gets nerfed
Yeah, Actually they nerfed it a bit because back then Stun grenade can affect Bile Titans as well... and yeah I remove titans from it's stun

been running the stalwart 90% of the time since launch when facing off against bugs. always been my favorite weapon vs bugs. never brought it to bots due to its light AP. but since its durabilty dmg increase and watching you open your video with slaughtering automatons, and especially shredding that hulk's backside.... iiiiim gonna have to start bringing this to the automaton front now. damn. there goes my two-sided build diversity.

I've been using the stalwart for a long time now as a primary my secondary is the scorcher against the automatons and the bugs you're worried about bug holes that's what grenades are for or you can take the grenade launcher pistol the ammo pack strategy is my go-to I never run out of ammo for the two weapons
Scorcher is soo good to pair with Stalwart, But you will need a Grenade pistol for Bug holes which is a good pick for you as you've mentioned... So overall it's a good loadout, Niceee!
its still just what the ARs should be
But with almost all of the players demand stats 😂... 250 ammo + 1150 rpm alone is fun to use afterall

@alphaone321 that's because the stalwart is a support stratagem and not a primary weapon. if you want to compare apples, then compare apples to apples.
But Stalwart not has hitmarkers and crosshair on 3r person

damn, but sometimes I make a trick over there.... Once I vaulted there I'll keep pressing E to gather supplies while bunch of terminids are on my back... SO satisfying everytime 🤣
I generally prefer the Machine Gun; the only downside is that you can't reload it while moving. I think they should reduce the reload time even further, but that's just my opinion.
The only time I use the Stalwart is in bug missions less than Level 5. Otherwise I use the standard Machine Gun, and that shreds through bug breaches. It's still a bit meh with Automatons, but it gets the job done.
I agree man, Overall firepower is machinegun.. but mobility wise it the stalwart...
I have excellent results using the Stalwart on higher level Automaton missions, especially paired with an explosive and/or medium armor pen primary. Running a Supply Pack to keep sending the pain downrange is also kino.

Well...Thats the thing. Call it in and use it as a primary. (Lets be honest, ammo can be found everywhere. even when your waiting for resupply to countdown)
Change your actual primary to something else that can compensate for where the Stalwart cant. That way, its a win-win. Your laughing!

@WayaliciousTV I've had excellent results with the Machine Gun on Automatons after kicking it up to 900 RPM. It shreds Devastators to pieces, and pelvic or leg "shoulder" shots on Scout Striders tears them apart. It will also quickly burst open a Hulk's backside. To say nothing of the absolute chunking it does to troop types, whole columns of them, deleted.
viper command should have a hip fire perk, thats a Rambo theme
30% accuracy when hip firing 👌 that would be insane!
How do you like the idea of asking the developers to add a drone camera for photos of the squad on the battlefield?
It would be good too, a Camera to take photos in-game.. But it will be difficult because of every enemy patrols will likely to appear now...
I like machine guns but I’m sorry it’s just way easier to use an auto cannon, it staggers everything under an elite and two shots almost all mediums if you can hit your shots the stagger stops the return fire and I’ve closed fabricators from 200m’s and took out shrieker nests and broadcast towers from 200m+

How I'd put it is
Stalwart: good for going on your own, as long as you can stun the enemy
Standard: REALLY good for playing in a group

I agree for solo I would recommend different support weapon... But it all depends on the player's playstyle
Its fine if you're alone. Even the HMG is fine when you're alone.
As long as you frequently call in supplies, you will get all four of them to yourself. Or take a supply pack.
Well, yes it is.
The outher 2 options are not bad, but the heavy has to little amo for my taste (excepted the heavy part to be amo, but was just dmg) and the recoil is to big for my taste, and also the reload forces to you sit down.
The first mg is not bad either. Good dmg, good amo, a little bit annoying recoil, but it's the first one you start with.
But stalwart is the best, good dmg, perfect amo, near to non recoil even on highest setting and you can reload wile walking.

I mained stalwart but after the HMG buffs it made it hard to pick between the 2
HMG has a cooldown but yeah same goes for stalwart but the stalwart atleast can bring anywhere with you as long as you have an Ammo XD
Stalwart is the goat for bugs. Hmg is just amazing vs bots. I love them both.
It depends on what difficulty you on doing 7 and up it doesn't cut it
7 and up is manageable, like what i showed the video... You just need right loadout to utilise
It still rocks 7 and up. I play on helldive difficulty and using the stalwart is a breeze to take care of every enemies except the titan. It has so much ammo that I can clear a full horde of enemies with ease. I even use it to take care of chargers. I guess you still have room to improve if you can’t use it level 7 and above.

against automatons you need to take shield pack, and if you not wear ammo pack i dont think stalwart will be effective on long run, ammo will be drain fast even ammo packs on map will not help
Don't need a shield on automatons, most people use the AC.

No medium armor pen? Sorry, I can't use it as a support weapon. If it was a primary I'd, use the heck out of it. Sadly there is to much armor in the game to make it worth while and no primary can cover its weaknesses enough.
You can kill a stunner hulk firm behind, Much wow. No orher gun can do that. Nuch support.

Ttk is still slower than MG and HMG
However, you can reload it without having to crouch. Its reload is faster and its recoil is much less making it easier to target enemies and it can be more reliable in a pinch. Depends on what you prefer honestly. HMG is great but its short on ammo, MG has great ammo but isn't as powerful as the HMG and it requires you to crouch when reloading. I think at least compared to each other they are well balanced.

If you play bugs.
Literally the best load out for handing bugs is
Medium armor with +50 armor(150 total armor) i don't think people realize how tank 150 armor is on a medium movement speed. If you use the new stim enhancement, you become severely tanks and move fast.
150 armor will make it so bile titans cannot 1 hit kill you from stepping on you. You can also tank a full strider cannon, tank round or charger hit and live.
HMG(Stalwart cannot kill brood commanders and hiccups on anything armored. Regular machine gun hands hive guards but struggles with brood commanders as well)
Machine pistol semi(using semi auto gives you 31 shots. Switch to this anything hunters or the littlest of bugs are coming your way. You can handle about 4 hunters per mag?
Eruptor(Crossbow) this is your bug hole closer, eruptor for far, safer shots or crossbow if you're wanting to be in the mess
Ammo pack( stronger than people believe. Gives 2 full magazines to all 3 machine guns, FULL mags to your machine pistol, 2 stim 2 grenade and primary weapon ammo per use
Fire impact grenades(these do good damage and blanket a choke point which kills hunters and any other small bugs. With starting and ammo box, you have access to 12 grenades)
Rail cannon shot (this 1 taps all chargers even behemoths)
EAT rocket(1 taps chargers and 2 taps behemoths. Sometimes 2 taps bile titans and rapid fire call down. Replace with commando when it comes out
This build Literally allows you to handle ALL enemy types in bug matches with zero hiccups or zero reliability on your team mates. I feel like every helldiver needs to be equipped to handle all enemy types just incase they get separated from their squad.
Playing this build, 9/10 times I'll have zero deaths all match with about 20-30 stim uses.
HMG with stims infusion and medium armor with padded, ive been able to tank 4 stalkers at once and be able to walk away from the fight at point blank range.
Spread democracy with the biggest guns
Reading your comment alone, I see that you're knowledeable to the game... You knew every strengths and weaknesses of every weapons and stratagems you've mentioned.
This is the true meaning of Fun in the game, Testing every possible loadouts what works for you....
HMG has to much downtime. Machine gun on medium fire rate handles brood commanders easily in my experience. I also prefer the new secondary shotgun as it staggers heavily, giving you breathing room
@@hilburnlayton The only issue i have with the regular machinegun is that you'll roughly dump 40-50 rounds into a brood commander.
If you get unlucky on a breach and 3 pop out of it, there goes all your ammo on just those three. This doesnt account for any unlucky moments that hunters,guards or warriors join into the mayhem.
With the HMG you can do a fast burst on a commanders leg and immediately drop it. On lowest fire rate you can chop an entire bug breach.
Pre patch, the 7.5 second reload was insanely bad but now its 5.5 seconds and isnt to bad at all as long as youre switching to your handgun in between reloads
@@fatwheat1 once you pop the head of a commander you can stop firing. shoot everything else. worse case scenario you're likely using the eruptor with the machine gun so you can just pop the brood commander with that to stagger it
Prefer fire shotgun, quasar, stuns, nade pistol, ammo pack personally.

Man ya i need to stop believing what the other video say. I always wonder why Stalwart wasnt good on bots. Everything you said here is what i thought. With a good strong primary and using either thermites or stun Grenades it should be fine. Stalwart is highly accurate and i use engineer skill on light armour so i am gold. Going to go try it on bots.

Just bring the MG. You are absolutely crippling yourself, and thusly your team, taking these recommendations when there is a similar weapon that is outright superior at dealing with bots.
@@creeeamy7133 i dont see the problem. If you bring something like eruptor or crossbow those devastators are easily taken care of. Use Stalwart like its your primary. Amazing accuracy, more ammo and you can set it to lowest speed. Your ammo supply looks good. Not to meation we got orbitals and eagles or bring a sentry like auto cannon or mortar on bots.

@@WayaliciousTV i ran few games and it was absolutely fun. Running around using my Stalwart up to berserker, i never had problem taking them down. For devastators, hulk and tanks i can take them all out with the crossbow but I bring rail cannon strike and mortar sentry. Also had back pack to abuse stims and stun Grenades. It was actually very comfortable for me for once vs bots.

Weakness of MG = Stationary Reloading and goodluck with the Hunters (terminids) and Missile (Bots) 😂

Each one has its purpose. MG and HMG are for builds focused on team play, so you reload and a partner cover your back, while Stalwart is better used as primary and has a lot of mobility. Paired with Eruptor or the bow you have a perfect build for Gunning & Running. In fact, after 600h of gameplay, Stalwart+Eruptor is the funiest loadout I've played for Helldives solos, duos and everything (bugs)
@@Artiel9 stalwart and eruptor you say.... Ill give it a go. Normally I carry Adjudicator for AP damage. aAdjudicator and MG makes you not care about any armor
