BOOM! Back with new inspiration for you guys! Make sure when you're done watching this video to make sure you accomplish something in the studio today! I'll see you at the top! 🔥🔥🔥
5:31 If you are in ableton, you can use search tab (ctrl+F) instead of spending so much time to organize samples btw, i'm glad you've returned, great to see your videos again :3
I apply most of the tips mentioned here regularly whenever I make music, and I guarantee everybody this 100% works best and it's very simple but very helpful.
Those were some really useful set of tricks, ngl. Especially '...saving projects when u are feeling uninspired...' trick. I actually have got a good experience on this one, coz i reworked on 2 projects which i had started and left 1.5-2 years back and now, i can surely agree that im much more satisfied with how they are sounding now... So all in all, i just wanna say that even if u are experimenting stuff, make sure u hit that save button (also hit that subscribe button for elation) coz udk, u might end up using that old experimental track's element in some of ur current song's and end up having sick results🔥 Happy producing, broducers 🤜🏼🤛🏼✨ And thanks for this tut and all other tuts, Elation... U have been a great inspiration and a guide for me. Lots of love ♥️✨
Well there's another advantage with this tip, as time goes on you will get the idea and experience on producing. You might even have new samples which sound good and might suit for the old project. Nice tip from elation and you too 🤓
I absolutely love all your videos and I had a blast fallowing along with your tips and tricks. Unfortunately a few months back my pc crashed....I lost every single sample or vocal sample you had free. Now I cannot seem to get them again :(
High pass everything : this one is gold i always do it and i also have a problem with reducing the mid to avoid muddiness or clashing i always do it i don't know how to solve this one...
Instead of copying the sample files and only using that folder, here are two better options: 1. Use a sample manager, like the free one from ADSR. That will also take care of sorting and categorizing them for you. Most half-way decent DAWs also allow you to label / tag your files, so you can just use the built in functionality if you prefer. 2. Use symlinks. They are basically like shortcuts on steroids, as, to an app, they will look exactly like the actual file, just without taking up additional space. Though please note: On Windows, symlinks are a mess. You have to change some deep setting just to be able to even create them without admin privileges.
Your videos are still such high quality of editing and script, up deserve way more recognition you are really teaching us and entertaining us very well
I'm very happy there is at least one person on UA-cam who's not saying false things. (you still shouldn't use MIDIs you download from the internet tho)
4:28 Music that is normalised to -14 LUFS (or any other level) does not have its dynamic range ruined, since it is just a volume change. If it gets normalised upwards, then it's a different story for quieter tracks.
can you please do a growl tutorial, im very new to sound design and the growl you made in the how to make melodic dubstep video is my favgorite growl ive ever heard and i have zero clue how to replicate something similar
@@EDMRemakesFL don’t know if you mean that in the literal sense or not. Hope you’re doing well man. You have some serious talent in producing. Wishing you the best of luck in the next chapter of your music career
@@EDMRemakesFL that's amazing! i really like the direction taken on arson, both production and lyric-wise and I'm happy to hear you were a part of that :) keep up the grind
There is some really really useful info here but... I feel exhausted after watching your videos! Is it necessary to edit the voice so harsh? We humans have to breathe to stay alive and so apart from sounding very unnatural it's a relentless drone of words that ultimately causes listening/brain fatigue. I know you're not the only UA-camr presenting in this style but you are the only one I've cared to say anything to. Just put at least a .5 second gap between the edits of sentences. I know for sure I would have lost my job in radio production if I edited one single piece like this. How you sound is important right? It could be the fact that I am of the wrong generation. Anyhow, just passing on my years of wisdom for what it's worth. Keep up the good work as the content is king.
i use fl mobile and every time i make a track, i place a soft clipper on the master lol. Even if my tracks are +3 dB on the master it would still sound good when i place the soft clipper
