attempting to thrift my dream wardrobe (in nyc!!)

as some of you know, I've been trying to up my style game, so today I tried my hand at thrifting to see if I could actually thrift my dream wardrobe. one of the things nyc is known for is the thrift stores, so today we hit a few places I've heard good things about, hope you enjoy!

Such good findings! But some tips from a girl in Sweden used to the cold weather: 1. Look for knitwear! And mainly with wool or other natural fiber, that will keep you warm and it's usually easy to thrift. It's also nice to have over shirts with the collar overlapping and also cool under leather. 2. Nivea in the blue tin will help your skin this time a year, it feels thick then you put it on but it dissappear instantly into the skin 🥰

I struggle a lot with shopping too. And I get so overstimulated with shopping but especially thrifting. And the smell of the stores aggravate my asthma😭 I mainly don’t buy clothes but then I never have anything to wear so I’m getting into shape but will also splurge on clothes I think will look good on me

The place you went to was also a flea market place so most of the stores there are small artist and it's all made by hand and including all the things they need to make the stuff and how long it takes that's why the things they sell can be "overpriced" and to also include how much inflation has increased too .

Stella Dallas is another curated one close to L-Train vintage, it's Japanese owned so it's mostly geared towards what the curators like (what's in in Japan), like graphic tees, mechanic coveralls etc
