- Attention viewers !!! This heater not 110 volt ! It's 220 (240) volt heater and power line is 220 volt !
In USA www.steamsauna...
It's mean there is TWO HOT WIRE ! Black one phase of 110 volt, and White another phase of 110 volt. It doesn't matter which color go to #1 or to #2. I mean you can connect Black to #1, White to #2 or opposite. Thanks.

The music is electrifying
I have an older sauna heater ( tylo sport 8 ) with 3 elements , and only one comes on ,
But when I first brought the house 2 years ago , sometimes you would turn it on , 3 would be working , sometimes 2 , sometimes 1 ,
Now it’s only 1 , because of the earlier scenario where more than 1 would come on at times , I suspect there is more going on than just the elements aren’t working .
Any advice appreciated ? thanks
Can't say anything, I'm not into repair it.
where is the location of the temperature sensor? I can't find any images on line for the correct location.
Sensor was installed later by owner. Where? A lot of images in internet with manual instruction. Here is one of them. Look at page 6 diagram, it says 2" from ceiling.

Kinda a shame you didn't run the wire in the wall with the rest of the house wires.. would have been a nice thought before the drywall went up.
Great point, but the house 30 years old.
Can i just use a iso cord and add a 240v outlet under my panel and plug it in?
Yes, you can use a cord like in dryer for 30-40 Amp. And must have separate breakers in case of shortcut.
they do come with out chord, so basically 3 wire chord plugs straight into heater and wall?
They sell it without cord and plug.
@@FixitAll i see, so basically just a 3 wired power cable connects into the heater and directly into wall?
Yes 3 wire cable, and you have two options:
1) connect cable straight into the wall (to the main breaker panel) like I did.
2) install outlet on wall and plug on cable.
From my experience, no one install outlet and plug, because the sauna not portable and there is no way to move in from one place to other in the garage or backyard.
So just do cable into the wall.
This model must be < 8000 watts. The KLB-80 internals are wired different. You must have one of these mods KIB/FLB 30-60 (3000w-6000w)
I'm confused on why there is no natural wire. I see 2 hot wires coming from the breaker directory to the heater but no return path for the electricity circulate
Inside the heater no circuit for neutral wire, ground only, so that's why i used 3 wire cable. Two x 110 Hot and copper ground.
Thanks I got to connect one for a customer tomorrow. Just want to make sure I'm perfect with it
Inside this heater just a coil and thermostat. No other electronic device or boards with micro components which requires a neutral wire.
At 1:02 what conduit did you use to enclose the wire through the vent hole into the unit?
Same gray plastic. A short piece of gray pipe was inserted into 90 degree box - same box as at 1:19 and 1:45
You can make a steel hole a little bigger it is need, and screw in to steel hole threaded gray connector, I just don't have it with me at that moment. Like this one www.homedepot.com/p/3-4-in-Conduit-Male-Terminal-Adapter-R5140104/202043511
Great thank you the quick reply....didn't know if it was hi temp rated but for that little amount I wouldn't think it would matter. Thanks again, great video

In USA you can find a heater here - www.steamsaunabath.com/catalog/sauna-heaters-c-100001_100008.html
Curious as to why you drilled 4 holes (1 for electric wire) is that for air flow?
First of all, this hole was pre drilled at factory. I think this hole designed for air in to sauna and located under heater.
I just used one for wire.
NOTE: The directions for this model state “It is NOT recommended you use the pre-drilled vent holes as an entrance for the conduit.”
Why didn't you choose a 10/2 wire? Also is your plug 3 prong or 4 prong?
Wire was take like manual recommended. There is no plug, wire goo straight from main circuit breaker panel to the heater control board screw terminal.
Why wasn’t the electric run inside the wall during the construction?
This is 240 volt model. No one have pre wired 240 outlet in garage. For inside wiring need open the wall. Tooooo expensive work.
Please tell me what sauna you install, heater kw, look great, I want too
Not remember . Sorry.

hi Peter, how long does it take the 230v heater to get the sauna ready, and at what max temperature? Thx!
This heater not 110 volt ! It's 220 (240) volt heater and power line is 220 volt ! It's mean there is TWO HOT WIRE ! Left 3 holes, that's more than enough for air.
How many amp you need for the breaker when you install a sauna?
You can see here - 40 Amp ua-cam.com/video/9beXW7JMmJo/v-deo.html
Wire 40 Amp also ua-cam.com/video/9beXW7JMmJo/v-deo.html
@@FixitAll One question, master, did you make the 1-L and 2-L connections correct and for the other connections did you make a bridge or just ask if I have a sauna. 240 too. that's my question thanks good video
@@edgarfigueroa5707 As you can see at 1:10 I have copper (ground) wire, white and black wire to number 1 and 2 (one line of 120v to #1 and another one line of 120v to #2, together = 240 volt). Nothing else was done. No any bridge or jumpers.
That's how USA residential line have 240 volt. If you live in Europe (or other country) where the 220-240 volt is a standard outlet voltage (in US 120v in outlets) your heater model may have a different type of screws terminal numbers.
Please confirm where which wire is connected. I understand that the green (ground) wire is connected to ground. Is the hot wire (black) connected to "2" and the load wire "white" connected to "1"? Thank you.

can I use and install NM-B 8-2 30Amps wires inside of my garage without conduit?
By code you should use conduit for any type of wire. But, I saw many houses and garages without conduit inside the garage. That's important if you will sale your house and inspector will say you need to fix it before sale. But for living no one will complain about wire without conduit.
NEC
check the nightmare i have with harvia!!
GFCI
The inspector said nothing about it, and the paper was signed.
I was installing one of these for a buddy, and was surprised at the instructions regarding GFCI. I hope this helps.....This is from the KIP-80-B1 manual......"Important! Heater must be connected to a standard 2-pole breaker, no GFI may be used. If this heater is connected to a GFI breaker, nuisance trip- ping may occur causing unnecessary and unintended wear on internal components. If connected to a GFI breaker, warranty on internal components will be voided."
Totally useless
What can I say more about 3 wires? How to connect one end with 3 wires to the main panel breaker and other end to the heater terminal?
I think any one know how to use screwdriver.
