Hi! Installed my front mounted air intakes yesterday and now it is worried when cruising at certain speeds and there is a little more hill on the road so the engine has to work a little more. Then it becomes like small jerks that are only felt without being seen on the tachometer. I have stage2 bm3, do you have the same problem or do you have custom map?
I am more worried about partially blocking the radiator airflow than the few degrees gain on intake temps. After the turbo the air goes into the intercooler anyway, so there is more to gain here imo...
What would it cost to do a custom e46 turbo tune E85 and on an auto trans Regular tune shows its 450$ trying to stay on a budget Car 2004 bmw 325ci stock engine.
The best intakes are stock. Most aftermarket intakes can’t rly push as much compared to stock intakes, the people at my workshop are mass selling off their eventuri intakes to swap back to stock
I can’t agree on that on ever car it’s different there’s stock intakes that just suck up hot air but sometimes with the aftermarket ones that run through the grill if it’s raining intakes can suck in water 😊
@bfromthea7663 in my country, people are selling their eventuri intakes and aftermarket intakes because they meet restrictions when running high boost levels. There are plenty of forums out there to support that the stock air intake is plenty

Ours > oem with a drop in filter > underhood like the brand you listed.
Agree rk intakes made my s55 feel way more responsive then stock ones

I’m guessing the stock intakes are the most efficient for stock turbo’s. Bigger turbo’s could probably benefit from larger intakes like this.
