Regarding makeup brushes: after I’m done applying my makeup, so I’m done using my brush(es) for immediate use, I wipe my brushes down with some Micellar water on a cotton round. (The same Micellar water I use on my face, so I know my skin won’t react poorly when I use my brush again.) I find this helps keep my makeup brushes cleaner in the long run (maintenance), and I can always do a more thorough cleansing later down the line. So far I have not noticed any decline in the quality of my brushes, but your mileage may vary. Anyway, just sharing in case this helps someone. ☺️
You look absolutely STUNNING in this video! Happy that you're back! Your vlogs are like comfort foods for me as I get ready in the morning or when I'm doing low impact exercises at the gym. Love love love them. Please continue doing these!

I think the filming “room” is fantastic. I didn’t even notice the a/c hum until you mentioned it and so I think the sound blankets are working great. 🙂 IMO this frees up the rest of the room so you can make it a non-filming work space that can feel less cluttered and busy with equipment. Such a good solution using that space. 🙂 Welcome back!

Yay! I clicked on this video so fast!! So glad to see you back!! Breaks are always important! I am on vacation/staycation this week and I do find that I am sleeping more plus it is more quality sleep. I didn't realize how tense and stressed I was until my staycation started.

Hello Michelle, for the filming closet you need “carpet tiles” they will help to absorb some of the sound and are easy to layout. Look at FLOR or INTERFACE brand. Also maybe a bigger desk and built in around the window in the main office :) just my 2 cents

Was wondering did you ever get check out for low iron levels? I got a blood screening and the doctor was like "oh, low iron. Let me get you some supplements." It helped a lot with not feeling tired all the time and my energy levels. I felt more like me lol
As for crispy meat, what about duck with the skin? Or nice piece of pork belly?

So good to see you again Michele! I am a big proponent of self care and taking time off. Welcome back :) Oh my gawd its just amazing how easy yet hard it is to figure out what to do with ones home, like what to put in drawers. I like your butlers pantry idea though. I am also glad your perfume room is temp controlled - nothing worse than spoiled perfume...sigh. I keep mine in the box in a dark closet. Although, I do not have as many I think a display cabinet would look great. Looking forward to new videos in the new closet! ha!

Welcome back - we missed you! ♥️🙏🏼 When you talk about it taking a few days to fully unwind while on vacation, my husband and I call that “shaking off the New York,” lol. We decided that all vacations must be 2 weeks long to really relax, because it’s not until about day 4 that we start to fully exhale. I’m glad you took a much needed break - it takes a lot of discipline to know when you need to rest and then to actually *do it! Glad you’re back with fresh inspiration - can’t wait to see what’s to come!!! 🥰💋🕶

If you feel you need a crunchy no carb/low carb snack try Wisps or Pork rinds or Dillies…we buy our snacks at Costco! We didn’t start snacking for at least two years, everyone is different. I got back from my first proper day at work in central London today - and the moment I got home for dinner… sat down to see that your latest VLOG had been posted. Very excited 😆 to finish dinner and catch-up on your break. Very impressed with how much you got done during your staycation - as well as getting some much-needed R&R. Health is wealth! Loving your filming room set-up too. I reckon small spaces are not only easier to manage, but also a consistent area for video development since lighting, sound, location remains the same. I also felt a sense of familiarity when viewing your previous posts sharing make-up latest ideas, news and views. Anyway - happy to go with whatever you decide. Glad to have you back and that you took a well deserved break. Moving house is not a pleasant experience, especially when you have to tackle all of the extra tasks associated with setting up a brand new home (not to mention 5 tries on the washer/dryer!)

Welcome back! I can only speak for myself - I missed you and your videos, but my only thought was " I hope Michelle is telaxing." Granted your type of relaxing is alot more productive than most people's regular days...lol. I am glad you rested and had some fun and unplugged from your apps. AND I ADORE TBE FILMING ROOM!! I think you did a great job. Finding the right space, light, sound levels is difficult....but this is a genius solution! It's cozy and set-up rrally well. Brava.
That Le Creuset covered baker is seriously gorgeous! I have a ridiculous amount of Le Creuset pieces, but I don’t yet have that. If you ever get the opportunity, their enameled cast iron rectangular roasting dish is ideal for Mac n cheese, scalloped Potatoes, roasted veggies, and of course for roast meats. Remember to use a Mr. Clean magic eraser to clean any discoloration in the pan. If you get really bad discoloration, le Creuset makes a cleaner you apply with a damp paper towel. I’ve had many of my Le Creuset cookware and bakeware for over 20 years, I use it a few times a week, and it still all looks brand new. It’s amazing stuff. 🥰
