Dude I came across this video randomly and I have to say this is amazing, it's so weird that nobody shows clear examples of what these tactical settings do, most people just say "I reccomend to set it like this", keep it up and obviously I would love to see a defensive tactics version.

Hope you make a comeback, especially with a Defensive Instructions video (I did a lot of testing and read/watch everything there is on the internet on the Containment area Wide/Centre and I am still not clear as to what exactly they do). nice video well explained keep it up.so in a 4-2-1-3 formation if i want to expoit the wings i should put attack through the middle because the opposing team will focus on the center of the pitch and leave the wings unattended?
As in my play style, I used to have counter attack, long passes, center, flexible with attacking line of 7. After your video, I suppose to try: counter atk, short passes, wide, flexible with a supporting attack line of 3 to ensure good passes and help my strikers to go freely inside box cuz I always attack from center. I always find many defences in the center and wondering why they always outnumber my strikers. What do you think?
I use 4213 with counter attack, center, short pass but bit spread,free roaming, tiki taka, gegenpress, defensive line. Works quite well for me in master league. I m playing with somewhat realistic signings(Manutd) Tho against teams with teams like Liverpool, Mancity etc I may not have huge possession but passes penetrating along center or wide cuts team defense. Goals feels so satisfying and real life Ole way of playing. Word of Caution: If you are playing Manutd and wanna do realistic signings sell Maguire first. Use Tuanzebe, Eric Bailey with Lindelof. Get a young high potential defender and a decent high rating cb.

Bought de ligt, Romagnoli, Martinez, Raphina, zaniolo, ihattaren, hakimi. Most acquired in swap deals. Not much money wasted. Got de gea swapped for Donnaruma which is coming in 2nd season. Let's see if I can get tonali or camavinga. Playing the cm in hard transfer setting. So rng favored me.
Gonna try 424 formation and playstyle Klopp used before going downhill bcs of injuries. So gonna use my 89 rated Bruno as SS False 9. I forget to add also bought Arthur 😂😂😂. So pogba is literally surplus as exchanged Donny Van De Beek for Zaniolo.
@@DhrubaPal yea Pogba is hit or miss in this game I feel, with his playstyle I feel like he doesn't get into great positions to really use his best skills/attributes.
you are 100% correct the play style will absolutely affect the player movement off the ball, in some ways significantly, i.e. if you play center attacking but have a crossing specialist, they will default to their playstyle versus your instructions part of the time. I did not include this as I will address it as a separate topic but your are correct my friend 😁
@@thefigonpes8 Well like to start with a low team from an unknown league like a Jleague.i am currently using Vegalta Sendai. 1st season spirit around 40s 50s and I am using new young players change most of the original squad members over a certain age. I try get young player age 16 to 22.
If were talking about support range (attack) and Defensive line (Defend) on the attacking portion I feel like unless your playing with a very structured style i.e possession its not as relevant, with possession i feel like you can get some use out of this setting that is reliable. but once you switch to counter I think maintaining a distance become much harder as player are actively making runs that break the support range setting. On def I will have to do a little more research 😁
@@thefigonpes8 Ok but I am talking about the attack def level where when it on maximum your CB overlaps and when the minimum your CF actually defends or comes deeper in your half. also your players tend play more aggressively.

Yes it should give you an isolated Winger a 1v1 as the def will be forced to def the middle, try it and let me know what you think 👍
