Went to the Grateful Dead show in Las Vegas in '92 and Blues Traveler happened to be playing at a casino there. Been hooked on them ever since :). Thanks for showing this
Another great lesson. Thank you for all of the excellent content and congrats on your show on AXS TV that I just found this week. It's great to see people putting good things into the world having some of that goodness returned to them. Best wishes for continued success!
Marty, you are the man. Can I hear it for the most likeable guitar instructor on the planet 👏 Please do a short of you showing us your harmonica skills that you acquired after seeking your PASSION! much love brother 👊
This is very interesting thank you. I learnt this from the guitar tab app which had slightly different way of doing this (as you said same chords just position) but yours sounds spot on. Thanks
I feel like Marty knows my music repertoire. He always seems to make videos on the songs I want to play/learn. You spying on me? jk, always enjoy what you're putting out. If you want to know what I'm thinking next-well it's Squeeze, Elvis Costello, Pixies, and Eels. just keep doing what you're doing. take care.
Love this lesson Marty! I learnt some of my favourite songs from your lessons! Could you please consider doing one of the songs from the Foo Fighters latest album "But Here We Are"?
Hey Marty been learning from you for a couple years now, sad day that Robbie Robertson has passed, you should do when I paint my masterpiece by The Band
Thanks for the lesson Marty! Can you please do a tutorial on “Jet Airliner” by Steve Miller Band? Thanks brother. Appreciate the hard work, quality content, and effort brother!
Awesome tutorial thanks again you’re my go to guy for guitar lessons. Was wondering if you could do homecoming by Green Day sometime? It’s definitely a long song but it sounds so cool
I mean, case and point. This is one of my absolute all time favourite songs, and here you are sharing it with the world. You rock Marty. Thanks for this! Edit: I Also started playing guitar because of this song. Although I did not start playing harmonica because of it, it was going to a Blues Traveller concert that my brother Did pick up the harmonica. I was not fortunate enough to make it to a concert before the passing of the late very great John Popper. I’m happy you did though. Rock in Peace, John!
This comment made start googling like a mofo! Going when did this happen?? Hahaha Yeah, JP is still kicking and not taking crap from the likes of the Black Crows….those dudes (the brothers in the Crows) come off as very unlikeable. I’m glad John set the record straight.
@@MartyMusic Oh my good gravy, the Mandela effect is in full force! My brother said he passed in the mid 90s. My day just got a little brighter. Thanks for this!
Extremely enjoy that groovy riff. Really upbeat and simple to play. Great lesson Marty!
Your strumming style - your right hand positioning - is terrible. And you are teaching other players to play this way!!!!
Thanks!
Brilliant one Marty. Can't believe we haven't learned this one together before.
Finally the correct position from someone. Great job
Marty you help change my soul and life with all these UA-cam videos

I love to throw in the "Hendrix" E and D into the mix. That slide up to the 11th is always an ear pleaser.

This chord progression is old, dating back to the 1600s. It's "Pachelbel's Canon in D." Great progression with lots of emotion.
