ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਾਡੀ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ Speaker ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਠੀਕ ਸੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਜੱਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੂੰ wheat allergy ਹੋਣ ਲੱਗੀ ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਤੇ Doctor ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਸੀ ਕੇ wheat ਕਣਕ ਇਸਦੇ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਰ ਦੀਓ ਤਾ ਫਿਰ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਨੇ ਘਰੇ ਹੀ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਣਕ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਤੇ ਬੱਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਬੱਚੀ ਤਾ ਠੀਕ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਪਰ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣਾ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਕਿਸਮ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ Allergy ਹੈ।

Sometimes a person gets stuck in such a situation and does not understand what is happening. and how to tackle it.
Something similar happened with our today's speaker Prabhjot Kaur. Prabhjot's life was fine until marriage, but when a girl was born in their house, she was suffering from a wheat allergy, which they found out after a long time. The doctor said that wheat is poison to her, then her mother Prabhjot prepared things without wheat at home and gave her to eat, the girl got better, but on the advice of the doctor, she continued this work and today is giving food to all those children who also have this type of allergy.

Lots of people are now aware of wheat allergy . I am fine with wheat but I choose not to eat wheat. There is so much variety of grains to choose. I make jowar, bajra, ragi, besan, or makki roti. South Indian food like dosa, iddli etc. I use almond, banana or other flours for baking. You can grind different dhals n make flour to make pancake or cheela. So much choice.

Excuss me , i m in canada, we can easily find glutren free food very easily. I have family membed with wheat allergy too she is here for 45 yrs now & eatting glutren free food. Donot say people in abroad dont know about allergies. People here have those food allerigies which u even never heard about. But sorry to hear about your daughter.
