- My friend Eric has been storing these bikes at our shop for the last 4 years. We decided to pull them down and see if we can get them running. The black one was found in someones living room being used as a christmas tree and the blue one came out of new york an old Spanish Louie bike.

I love how people in the 60-70’s accessorized their Harleys. So much labor went into those. They didn’t ride them far but how awesome they looked. I’ve got a 1970 Stock FLH. Looks stripped down compared to those road dawgs. Thanks for making the video.

My dad rode Harley Davidsons dressed out like this way back in the 60s, I've always thought hawgs dressed out like this are cool. Homemade pipes made from large drive shafts and chromed, the more lights and chrome that could be added the cooler you were. Awesome is the only word I have for the nostalgic bikes. I'd clean them up and ride them just as they are.
Back when I was young the MC Soul Seekers rode bikes like that.
I think that these bikes were a good way to diagnose a mental illness

When one cylinder fires they both fire so it's either the sparkplug, wire or coil. They're a lot easier to push when the tires are inflated.

I'm a fan of classic eurobikes, but these bikes may be art pieces to be preserved, cleaned and respectfully photographed. Today's garbage can be tomorrow's folk art.

Dam good running bike. The brown one is in amazing mechanical condition. Not alot of shovels out there that sound that good, really sounds better than from the factory.

They sound good but only one question WHY they have one at Wheels Through Time museum and I just can’t see doing all that to a bike they have to be real heavy
You weren't kidding when you said "Garbage Wagon's". Shovels were made for leaded real gasoline not no lead "corn whiskey fuel". Heads need to be redone for corn whiskey..

It's a shame what was done to that liberty edition.. Smh. Wonder what happened to the tank graphics? Unless they just stuck the liberty edition fairing on it.
