I've been using the Redmi Note 9S for a month now and I'm very pleased with the camera(s) results so far. Having that bigger sharper display and the huge battery for a fraction of the price seems like a no brainer.

Iphone's camera probably is the best out there but it is not 5x better than the note 9 pro. It is the best camera at that low price point for those people that can't afford an iphone.
NGL, for US $250 the camera or Redmi Note 9 pro is actually really good. 😍 It can never be at par with a $900+ Iphone but you get what you pay for. Just adjust your standards.
Lets be honest, the camera difference is negligible for the average user, who is not a photographer. The iPhone might have a better build quality, but not by leaps and bounds. I think it comes down to the names and os. I happen to think Android 10 with the miui 11 is better than ios 13.6 I have phones with either os.

It takes too long to capture a shot, and half of the night sight shots are blurry coz no-one has time to hold phone steady for so long. Trust me, I have had at least 12 of my friends take NightSight shots with Gcam on the Note 9 Pro, only 2 were able to take clear shots, that's a bad ratio. This is one of the reasons I don't recommend Gcam to people. Other reason, its ot available on Play store. Don't but a phone thinking Gcam will come to save you. But a phone with a better camera in the 1st place. Just saying.

You used the Indian variant for this video, I think the global variant is slightly tweaked to improve colors. Besides the Samsung sensors have always suffered with range always loved the Sony sensors more.

Bro in case of ios you can use both apple apps and Google apps not possible in android side, Apps are better developed on ios apps and games in ios is much more polished and optimise than androids also developers will firstly develop apps and games in ios ,,and in ios app development is way easy than androids so developers first preference always be ios...Snapchat, Facebook, instagram , games etc all works better in ios

Personally I feel the Iphone destroys the Redmi for video quality which is to be expected. However good light shots especially when enhanced using the Google Photos 'auto-enhance' feature (very easy to do and masively enhances to majority of photos IME) are very very close to the Iphone shots which in itself is a massive win for Xiaomi given the asking price!

iPhone .... Barf. Honestly I repair more iPhones than any other device and for a device that tries to market themselves on reliability haha it's absurd. Also no expandable memory 🤦🏻♂️, and lovers of iPhones will straighten their silk ties and pull on the collars of their perfect white flawless Polo and say, "Haha we have the cloud pssh" ....yeeeah. Apple does indeed have iCloud and now pushes their security which IS absolutely wonderful (sounding), till the day you forget your password. You can call, write, mail in a blood sample but too bad, so sad, you will NEVER regain access to your toddlers first steps or your wedding day....nope. Thank God, their is a way to expand the memory via OTG drives which I sell but this is NOT a promo, you can readily also get them almost anywhere online and pretty cheap. I always tell my customers NEVER trust iCloud solely and to use a OTG drive to plug into your iPhone and transfer your most precious moments. Anyway, this isn't a rant against iPhone or Apple because without their devices being so unreliable I'd been out of business years ago. I personally love Xiaomi and usually their phones don't have tons of bloatware like many other Android devices and if they do have something you don't like, just like Samsung and other Android devices you can simply download Odin and remove them and even install a custom boot, instead of your device booting up with the Samsung logo maybe you want it to boot up with YOUR logo....easily achieved using many GitHub installs .... iPhone, yeeeah, just get used to that trademark Apple logo. In India Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with 48MP camera and the one with 64MP is called Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

iPhone .... Barf. Honestly I repair more iPhones than any other device and for a device that tries to market themselves on reliability haha it's absurd. Also no expandable memory 🤦🏻♂️, and lovers of iPhones will straighten their silk ties and pull on the collars of their perfect white flawless Polo and say, "Haha we have the cloud pssh" ....yeeeah. Apple does indeed have iCloud and now pushes their security which IS absolutely wonderful (sounding), till the day you forget your password. You can call, write, mail in a blood sample but too bad, so sad, you will NEVER regain access to your toddlers first steps or your wedding day....nope. Thank God, their is a way to expand the memory via OTG drives which I sell but this is NOT a promo, you can readily also get them almost anywhere online and pretty cheap. I always tell my customers NEVER trust iCloud solely and to use a OTG drive to plug into your iPhone and transfer your most precious moments. Anyway, this isn't a rant against iPhone or Apple because without their devices being so unreliable I'd been out of business years ago. I personally love Xiaomi and usually their phones don't have tons of bloatware like many other Android devices and if they do have something you don't like, just like Samsung and other Android devices you can simply download Odin and remove them and even install a custom boot, instead of your device booting up with the Samsung logo maybe you want it to boot up with YOUR logo....easily achieved using many GitHub installs .... iPhone, yeeeah, just get used to that trademark Apple logo. Yes, in the camera app settings there is an option to turn that watermark on or off.
