I’ve been enjoying your authentic reactions to Dimash. You are articulate in describing Dimash’s vocals and dead on his talents. By now you must realize he is world renown and his fan base “dears” are protective of him. If you have done research on him, you know he is from Khazistan, he sings in 12 or 13 languages and has just added Spanish (although not fluid I’m sure it will improve) he was train since the age of 5, and his fame or when the world notice him, was when he appeared on China’s “The Singer or I am a singer” as a wild card, this is when he introduce the song SOS singing in French in China from Kazistan which is amazing right there. His 12 performances were out of this world and it’s in these performances that most people start reacting to in order. Those performances will knock your shoes off!!! He was only 22 or 23 at the time. This is back in the year 2017. However since he was not a Chinese citizen they gave him second place. However that placed him on a world platform and his English and vocal abilities have been maturing since then he has been performing worldwide getting better and better. He teamed up with a famous composer Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement just to work with Dimash. From there were born Stranger, Ave Maria and my favorite Love is Like a Dream perform in Moscow with his red velvet outfit and others performances that leave people with their jaws on the floor
Now getting down to business Ms Brittany, I have tremendously enjoyed your Dimash reactions. Your reactions are so genuine and your face expressions are priceless! But I’ll be honest… in your last Dimash reaction “ The Story of.One Sky “ I was very disappointed being that it took Dimash 3 years to create and is considered the most expensive video to make. Dimash is just amazing isn’t he? He manages to lift people to heaven with just one vowel. He leaves me speechless every time I hear this song. Igor Krutoy composed this version of Ave Maria at the request of Dimash. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
I'm not sure but that must have been a C6 or D6. Dimash has tremendous lung capacity as he exercises very intensely and goes swimming and diving a few times a week to further increase it.

Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. This song and this performance is my absolute favourite🥰. I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I have gasping breath all the time. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so demanding and so bossy😱 (I hope it‘s the right word-English is not my native language). There he is such a Beast😳! It’s absolutely stunning. What he has now is a product of more than two decades of hard work and perseverance. He did not give up when nobody seems to believing in his talent. He came a long way. By the way, this young man is highly educated, he is in the pursuit of getting his PhD degree. I learned lately that he was granted a schoolarship for one year internship program in one of the universities in New York.

What can I say, Dimash is certainly our Angel of Music! Up to this day, his interpretation of Ave Maria makes me feel emotional. His voice is so heavenly and touches my soul.
Otherwise, Dimash is indeed classically trained - he even declined a position as an opera singer when he was only 22. But also, he has absolute pitch (a rare cognitive trait by the way), which was discovered when he was only 5 years old.
I read in one of the comments that he came a long way… Wait, what? 😅 On a serious note, I think that the person was referring to the time when he partook in a singing competition show in his country when he was a teen, and he was actually criticized for using all his vocal range and high pitch voice in one song, which is a far cry from not believing in his talent, but rather not believing in his unique style of singing. He respectfully listened, but obviously didn’t take the judges’ advice, which I’m grateful for!
He’s both extremely gifted and talented. He was born with a three to four octave range, which he extended it to over 6 with lots of training and practice. That being said, we are not all born equal or gifted the same way: we could all have the exact same amount of training but won’t necessarily reap the same results!

Dimash has a distinctive and unique head voice, he can sing 6th octave notes with head voice, I don't know any other male singer on earth who can sing F6 with head voice like it's nothing. I think the highest note he hits in this performance is an E6, but he can go much higher. Check out “Unforgettable Day” at Gakku to hear the infamous D8 (off the piano). It has to be the Gakku performance though.

He's using messa di voce, a singing technique where you sustain a pitch while gradually making the voice louder and then softer. It is a very advanced technique used mainly in classical music.
