I mean singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note! Also, he sings with so much emotions, floatiness, and grace ! Even it is only a A vowel but so hard because it is so exposed. His breath control is insanely amazing! The official video has over 750 million views. A lot of people have covered the song since it first came out in 1965. Disturbed's version is the only one that Paul Simon put a link to on his social media pages. I've lost count of the number of reactions I've watched. At the end, David Dramen hits a note that, to me anyway, is absolutely pure and perfect on the word 'sound'. I get chills every single time I hear it. I would love to see your reaction. This rendition touches the very core of my soul. I have watched this performance numerous times already since it premiered and I am moved to tears the moment I hear the first note sung by Dimash's angelic voice. This is a vocalise interpretation of the opening vocals of Schubert's “Ave Maria”. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this rendition for Dimash; it is not a cover. The piece uses only three bars from the original composition and changes the fourth note to a higher note. Someone explained that Dimash called Igor Krutoy with an idea for a brand new interpretation of Ave Maria and asked him to compose the music. Dimash is said to love Gregorian choral music which is where he got the inspiration. Igor composed the music, after which Dimash conceived these exquisite vocals. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian composer. He wrote music for several of Dimash's songs, for example - Olimpiko, Stranger, Love is like a dream. Lara Fabian and many other good singers sang to his music. When I listen to Dimash - every time I have tears in my eyes! Before that, I listened to songs many times and there were no tears! Dimash sings amazingly !!

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D #4 C #4 and B4 to G #4, G4, G4, D #5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

*This is the famous composition of Ave Maria misattributed to G. Caccini (1551-1618). It was actually composed by Russian composer Vladimir Vavilov in the early 1970s. He was forced to attribute most of his music to someone other than himself because any religious composition at that time, especially one invoking the Virgin Mary, was criminal under the communist dictatorship governing the Soviet Union.

The clouds, his eyes, the choir, starting a cappella, his face before he starts, the purity of sound, absolutely Divine sound from his soul. The first time I viewed this, from the moment I saw Dimash at the mic, moving slowly to the mic and bowing his head, eyes closed, something transcendent coming thru his body and face.....and then.....that first tone…….my eyes filled with tears......thru the entire piece tears.....and each time I've watched again…..the sheer etherial sublime heavenly beauty of his sound coupled with emotions of hope and compassion…….Even the choir is applauding at the end. I think it’s more than the “vocals” he is using that is so touching but the resonant beauty and the heart centered feeling of those vocals that is gripping and so moving….his singing radiates a light out over the world bringing much needed… warmth.....healing......comfort……radiance ……Light..…….. 🧚♂
Yes its a totally new composition by Igor Krutoy who composed this vocalise, no lyrics, at the request of Dimash who asked him to compose music for him for a brand new Ave Maria, Dimash likes choral music, and this gorgeous vocalise is the result of this latest collaboration of two genius musicians, Masters of their crafts. 💖
It’s no news Dimash and Igor do it together. It’s literally just about every performance. He’s like a father figure to Dimash. So every comment on UA-cam doesn’t have to be Igor composed it at Dimash request like they are a package deal we know this already

Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian composer. He wrote music for several of Dimash's songs, for example - Olimpiko, Stranger, Love is like a dream. Lara Fabian and many other good singers sang to his music.
When I listen to Dimash - every time I have tears in my eyes! Before that, I listened to songs many times and there were no tears!

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D #4 C #4 and B4 to G #4, G4, G4, D #5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!
To lift your spirits again, I recommend Stranger or even better his latest version of Screaming in Beijing 2021.
