- anybody can pick up a tattoo gun and start putting dots on your head but that would defeat the entire purpose of getting a procedure like SMP / Scalp micropigmentation. you'd still end up being self-conscious and even worse off than you were before you tried to cover the fact that you are going bald or have thinning hair. when done correctly this procedure Is it great option before costly, painful and chemical laden procedures like a hair transplant that may end up not working in the long run anyway.
