Today’s how to draw video will be teaching you to draw 3 different styles of Koi fish scales.
In this video I’ll be going in depth and detail on the process of sketching each style of scales, which include a simple traditional style method, a black and grey realistic method and a newschool or neotraditional method.

So, of course, I like the first one as it is the clean, open, old-school look that lasts. I also find that I like the third one a lot as well. I would probably choose this one if I was doing a neo-traditional design. I'm not a big fan of the second one that much at all. I'm moving some money around to join the channel next month because I really want to see you grow and expand your career. I think it's important to support younger artists and you're the one I'm choosing to support. Keep up the great work.
Hey brother, yeah i’m the exact same. The second method i’ve personally never really used but it is one that i’ve seen and can be quite popular with blackwork or realistic design. Also thank you so much brother 🙏🏻I really appreciate the support you continually give me, can’t express how much it means that people like yourself are backing me, thank you
Well if that wasnt helpfull , tx tx tx
😁👍🏼
I Love the Traditional style because it so open and has a visual appeal to me. I also Love Lots of color with skin breaks. 🔥👍🏻😎🙏🏻
Thanks so much! These qualities appeal to me the most also! 🤙🏼😁

The first and last where my fave but I’m a black and grey artist cuz I hate mixing colors… because I can’t🤷🏽♂️
Learn coloursss!!!! 😂 black and grey is sick too tho 😁 keep at ot
Dude thanks, I’ve used the traditional “S” curves in the past but couldn’t remember it to save my life! 👍
Hey no worries bro! Its the best way there is 😁
#1 I like the TRADITIONAL, I think it makes it so you can you can pack the colors in better.
Agree wholeheartedly my friend

❤️
Very informative love the way you presented it. I like all three methods.great stuff thanks very much.
Cheers 😁
The first and the third are nice. For a tattoo I would look for the first one because over time lines on the fish will get fuzzy and bleed outwards. So more open spacing of the scales for the first one. But for a painting on the wall I like the third because it shows more detail like you said the wrap around effect.
Hey nice observations! I completely agree with this, theres a reason traditional styles are king, they designed the tattoos to age well as rhe skin changes, so bigger and clearer is generally better for tattooing! 😁👍🏼
Good Job Broder😎

Dude, thank you so much for such a simple and efficient couple of techniques! I watched a lot of videos and none helped me create anything other than overly basic. The 3rd option suits me the most.
