Grandma and Grandpa! I LOVE your channel and look forward to seeing more of your delicious GF recipes! My boyfriend is from the south and I so enjoy the new things I can cook for him. Rose, you remind me of my Grandma Johnson when I was a little girl and Grandpa Roy has such a good sense of humor! I'm from Minnesota and we are enjoying a long summer here, I hope you and your family are doing well and continued prayers and blessings to you 😊 love y'all!
Good morning, Grandma and Roy. This comment really isn't about this video. As I've mentioned in comments before, my wife and I do a lot of canning. I make and can zucchini relish. The recipe calls for quite a bit of sugar. I do reduce the amount that I use. My question is, can I use Stevia for canning? Hope you have a wonderful day. May the Lord richly bless you!
Jimmy, we have really been missing your comments. Welcome back.. yes, I do use Stevia in canning. You may want to try 1/2 sugar and 1/2 stevia..That’s what I do sometimes. Now my cucumber pickles, I use all stevia.. just kinda play around with it and you will find a happy mix for you. 🌹
I am in England. U.K…..what is a stick of butter? How many ounces or grams? We all speak the same language…..but have many differences. You call your Oven, a burner! We say a quarter of a cup, you say one fourth. You measure by cups, we measure by using scales.
Butter in the U.S. is sold in a 1 pound box, divided into 4 sticks of 4 ounces each. 1 cup = 8 ounces or 2 sticks. The sticks are wrapped in paper which are printed with graduations in tablespoons, 1/2 and 1/3 cups, and ounces. Hope this helps.
Actually, in U.S., an oven is called an “oven.” That’s for baking, roasting and broiling. A “burner” is the heating area on top of the stove, usually four burners.
That’s too funny. Love it

Barbara, it is so good.. about time for me to make another one.. check out my chocolate pie from a few days ago. Scrumptious 🌹
Have you ever used Carbquick? I see it on the grocery shelf, but never have bought it.
Where do you buy your Sugarlite??
What is stivia? What's the difference between sugarlite and regular sugar?
Stevia. It is a natural sweetener made from the leaves of the stevia plant. I don't know what sugarlite is, never heard of it or seen it
