DIY: Sea Foam to Clean Engine - Subaru Outback

How to add Sea Form motor treatment to a 2001 Subaru Outback V4 2.5L engine using a Vacuum Line!
Steps towards a cleaner running engine:
1. Add it to the top vacuum line while engine is running.
2. Let it idle 5 minutes after adding.
3. Drive it around for at least 15 minutes to deep clean.
(White smoke from the exhaust is normal and will clear after driving enough!)

Rod knock isnt good. over time the rod bearings will shit the bed sending the piston out. its normal for subarus to have that knocking sound when its cold. as the pistons warm up they expand. but this car here is clearly at operating temps which is concerning to me

DriveMaine207 man i really appreciate your reply. Mine does it when ots cold but goes away when warm. I noticed when its cold its louder in park than when its in drive or reverse.

Sounds more like a stuck piston to me since it sounds like the top of the car and less the bottom.

No sorry :/ If you can't find the vacuum line, just do a quick search for 2004 outback vacuum line and there should be plenty that comes up! It's pretty fun and useful to Seafoam it!
